After a two hour drive from Priego de Córdoba we were delighted to arrive at the lovely Hotel La Tartana. It is an immediately welcoming and calm place on the Mediterranean coastline overlooking the sea and the small town of La Herradura. Jed was a very friendly, welcoming and accommodating host. He has created a small hotel full of character;... More

This place is such a lovely find, it's the type of small boutique hotel you wish you could find everywhere. It has a wonderful small hotel vibe, that really feels like home after minutes, the rooms / communal area's are really lovely and the photo's do not do it justice at all. It's run by a friendly, warm family, has... More

From check in to check out everything was perfect. Spotless welcoming room that makes you happy to come home too. Even if you can't get a room you need to come for the restaurant! Lovely outdoor dining area with beautiful sea views and the food is out of this world! Mandy and Jed were great hosts who could not be... More

This place is really well managed by two very friendly English people who made us feel extremely welcome. The bedroom had a small balcony with sea views in the distance. I was delighted to find Egyptian cotton sheets and an extra comfy mattress. Free private parking across the road. The chef there was incredible. Being a vegetarian it can be... More

We were welcomed as if entering someone's home. Jed and Amanda were attentive hosts as well as being charming, funny and kind. All the staff are warm and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable; the balconies looking out to sea are a good addition. The food and drink is what this lovely little hotel is renowned for. The food... More

We stay happily in 2-4 star lodgings, usually under one hundred euros, but often pay more if we think it will be a special experience. Here we chose a more expensive sea view room. Don't bother. No one present to let us in nor check us out - a restaurant employee happened by. Courtyard was not clean, though our room... More

We found this absolutely charming hotel last year and had a fantastic stay. As we were getting married this year we thought it would be lovely to go back after our wedding and have a blessing in the courtyard and a meal with the 8 guests that accompanied us. We contacted Jed and Amanda a full 8 months in advance... More

I think this is one of the most gorgeous boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. I loved it. We only stayed one night but I could have stayed forever. The courtyards, the terraces, the amazing food, the charming owners, the wonderful Maria - everything was wonderful. I would love to visit again. Lori and Daniel from NS Canada
