This great place was booked for us by Bike Spain. We were riding around the Andulusia countryside and this was on the tour. It is in a very secluded area off the main road and the signs to the inn are minimal, but we found it and it was our favorite place! The hosts were very welcoming, the rooms very... More

A night to get away from it all. Travelling just an hour or so from home to a new part of andalucia. Cortijo le Fe is tucked away in pristine olive groves, high up over looking the countryside. we were given a warm welcome by the owners. Our room was cool and spacious and traditionally decorated, lovely antique details. We... More

Dominique and Ricardo were wonderful hosts to their home. The room was cozy and unique. The dinner and breakfast were fabulous! We hiked all around their property for several hours and at each turn another beautiful vista. Montefrio is 10 minutes away and Dominique told us where to go for the best views. Thank you Ricardo for the recommendation to... More

Fortunately this remote small hotel was booked for us by Country Cycles as we would never have discovered it ourselves. It's location is secluded but as excellent food and wine are on hand, that's suits us just fine for a short stay. The decor and ambience are traditional , and the hosts welcoming . The rooms are clean and the... More

Dominique and Richard are terrific hosts, and their home is beautiful. They had great suggestions for places to see. I slept more than I had for months in their dark, quiet, peaceful inn. A bonus--Richard built a spectacular hammam with materials imported from Morocco, and if you stay three days, you get to use it at no extra charge. It... More

What a welcome from Dominique who instantly made us relaxed after our 4hr trip by car from Murcia. Cold drinks at the ready and sun loungers by the pool was a must to enjoy the fantastic view. 1830 Arabic bath for another relaxing 75mins before returning to our room where a bottle of champagne awaited me as a surprise from... We bicycled up the long hill from Montefrio and turned onto the dirt road that eventually revealed this lovely secluded bed and breakfast surrounded by olive groves. This delightful farmhouse/cortijo is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in throughout Spain. Set amongst fabulous view of the surrounging olive groves and with views of the mountains in the distance, close to Montefrio which is a fascinating typical white Andalucian village. It is about 40 minutes from Granada which has so much to offer as well as... More
