I booked for a Sunbeds day evening. Upon arrival the car park was full. I always find the food here consistently brilliant and tonight was no exception. We were made to feel very welcome by Zoltan and Sophie whose customer service was above and beyond as always We were seated in the two winged backed chairs by the fire. A...

The Village Pub is a delightful place. We thought the food was delicious and not overpriced. The rooms were tastefully decorated with a nice large bathroom. Lovely touch to add hot water bottles . The only fault were the pillows ...really uncomfortable and need to be changed. The dogs were allowed in the rooms which was brilliant as it was...

visited as it's equidistant on a weeknight for me and a couple of friends - never been before but the pin in a map coupled with a look at the website works more often than not! very relaxed ambience, not over busy for a Wednesday but they'd put all the diners that were there near each other. I suppose this...

One of my favourite places, but must comment on a shocking starter on Saturday. The main courses for us all were delicious with outstanding lamb. However, The crispy duck salad was not up to the usual standard. Only leaving this as constructive criticism and hope for crispy not soggy when I next order.

My husband and I visited over NYE for a couple of nights and had a truly lovely stay at The Village Pub. The room was beautifully decorated, super clean and very large (especially the bathroom). Our meal on NYE was very tasty and it was nice not to have an enforced set menu. The bar itself was again well appointed...

We went there for a Saturday night dinner and could not fault either the service or food. Both the lamb and the chicken were outstanding. We visit regularly and everytime the food and drink is excellent. Well worth a visit

Very welcoming with excellent service throughout our stay. Food and beverage first class roaring log fires and though we were just dining the experience was memorable.Would strongly recommend to others although not inexpensive.

We had a 3 night stay here and can thoroughly recommend the village pub. Attention to detail...iced water in your room .. excellent team of staff, and a good choice of all cooked food. A perfect place to stay to explore the towns and villages of the Cotswolds

My wife and I have regularly eaten at this gastropub over the years and have generally been very satisfied. However on this occasion we had a late lunch there on a busy Saturday and it was a disappointing experience. I had cheese soufflé as a starter, which I've had before there, but this time it had been precooked and lacked...

They have a very good chef! The dinning room has been striped back since our last visit a couple of years ago, and now is a quite simple a country pub. However, the food is exceptional, beautifully cooked and presented at very reasonable prices for such quality. Hake with with wild mushrooms on seafood risotto and pheasant with dauphinoise potatoes...
