Used as a crash pad for a couple of nights - before and after a wedding at Mythe Barn.. Such a warm welcome from hosts Jenny and William. Huge room with equally big bathroom with bath and shower. Fantastic full English cooked to order. Great help given for places to eat/drink in local area, even an offer to drive us... More

Stayed here following a delightful wedding anniversary event at the farm. The rooms are lovely, the setting fantastic and the hosts friendly, helpful and welcoming. I loved it. It is a perfect location. I'm stayed for one night and felt completely at home. It is very calm and relaxed.

Five of us recently stayed at Abbey Farm as we were attending a family wedding locally. We had a very warm welcome, comfy beds and a great breakfast. What more could we ask for. The building is old so don't come and expect glass and chrome, rather everything is homely with a great view.

Jenny and Bill are wonderfully welcoming hosts. The room we had was huge, with a massive bathroom en suite. The views were breathtaking and our hosts were only too happy to give is further details of tbe history of the farm, the abbey and Merevale Hall and church. Being so close to the scene of the Battle of Bosworth, we... More

I wish I had read Northanger Abbey again before staying here. It has abbey ruins! Catherine Morland would have been beside herself. We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to returning. The rooms are very spacious, with gorgeous views. A very tasty breakfast in the morning - best smoky bacon I've ever had. Cherry trees in fruit, friendly dogs... More

Four of us spent a wonderful 2 night stay at Abbey Farm. A beautiful countryside setting overlooking glorious countryside, a lovely lake and a ruined Abbey. Both rooms were spacious and comfortable one with an ensuite and the other with a private bathroom. Full english breakfasts were excellent and nothing was to much trouble for the owners who even gave... More

Excellent location and views. Bill Jenny and boys were so friendly, really went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Breakfasts were fantastic, rooms huge. We took over most of the breakfast room making cards bags and pictures. Intended using one of the bedrooms but Jenny said use the largest dining table. Brilliant customer service.... More

Enjoyed every second of it. Had a very personal feel and the owners recommended eating places, offered to drop us off and even ironed my shirt when I asked if they had an iron. That sort of service you just cannot get from chain hotels. Do have a wonder round the ruins of the monastery in the garden, it is... More

Lovely friendly hosts in a beautiful part of the country. Great history and loved the story of the abbey and tunnels from the property. Brilliant breakfasts and spacious rooms - well connected to transport links. Jenny was really helpful to sort out things like taxis for the wedding we were attending
