This is a lovely and quiet home away from home. Staff were very efficient and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay which came after a period of busy traveling. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I made a stroll along the beach which was very refreshing. I really wished I could have stayed longer and I will certainly be back. Finally... More

I spent 3 nights in Amarela Hotel. TWICE! We stayed the first three days in Panglao at Amarela Resort before going for a road trip. Just before we hit the road, we ensured our reservation for when we returned five days later. Even though we stayed there during Filipino school holidays, the place remained quiet. The beaches nearby are full... More

Amarela is a home away from home where the family can while away both peaceful and active time in an exclusive nature-rich environment. Wake up in well-appointed rooms to the calling of a multitude of birds. From the veranda, freshen one's sights with the serene seascape and the lush foliage below. Service is warm and welcoming and the price reasonable.... More

Amarela did not disappoint. From its clean well appointed rooms, rare antiques and home away from home feel, our family had a wonderful time there. The food was good and real value for money. We had fresh crabs bought from the market and had it steamed at their restaurant. Their staff was very accommodating. If you are looking for a quiet... More

A boutique resort with its own art gallery. Rooms beautifully fitted with mahogany furniture and original art. We particularly enjoyed the library which our room flowed onto. Friendly and attentive staff. Kayaks and boats to paddle around the private beach

The driver of the airport shuttle from the resort was already waiting for us when we arrived in Tagbilaran airport. It was fantastic not to have to think about how to get to the resort. When we arrived at the resort, we got smiles and helpful words all around. When I booked the resort, I specifically noted that we would... More

We just got back from a 9 night stay at Amarela. We are a youngish family with 2 kids aged 3 and 7. We had a fantastic time at Amarela. Like so many before us I found reading tripadvisor reviews to be a source of information that is absolutely essential when planning our holiday so I will try and be... More

We originally booked 2 rooms for our stay during Semana Santa. My brother got sick unexpectedly so we had to book a different room for my grandmother and mother. The front office team was very accommodating and made sure we were able to transfer right away. The hotel had a dinner theme for all of the nights we were there.... More
