Bellevue Resort review My family (dad, sister) and I came here to Bellevue Bohol for a 3-night vacation. For my sister and me, it was our first time in this province, and I’m so happy I lucked out and found this resort. Our stay was amazing! Reception - upon arrival at the airport, one of the staff greeted us and led us to our service vehicle to bring us to the resort. It was very comfortable, and well worth availing! When we got to the resort itself, we were welcomed with necklaces and lemongrass juice as we checked in. The front desk staff, Nadel, was so easy to talk to - she told us what kind of room we got, and even if it wasn’t available yet at the time (we arrived at 11:30am), she gave us options as to what to do while we wait. We immediately felt right at home! Food - during our stay, we got to experience breakfast, lunch and dinner at their restaurant, Marea. I find the à la carte options to be really delicious! When we had lunch on our first day, I ordered the pork humba with saging saba, along with the tropical iced tea. That pork was so tender and very flavourful! You can tell the meat cuts absorbed the sauce really well. Plus, I believe the portion I ordered could feed 2-3, so it’s a pretty good deal! The tropical iced tea wasn’t what I expected - it was a blended drink, kind of like a shake. Definitely new, and I found it to be really good as well! Best consumed immediately though. For dinner later that night, we had the pork sinigang, ham and cheese sandwich for my sister, and beef nachos. These dishes were so comforting, especially as it was raining at the time. The sinigang has that classic sour taste from the tamarind, and I believe it could also feed 2-3! As for the sandwich, it was delicious and very filling! The nachos were good as well, we managed to wolf this down even with the other dishes. We also got to try their pizzas (margherita and 4-cheese), and both were really good! Oven-baked on what seemed to be flatbread, their crusts were crunchy and the toppings were good! Best eaten poolside, in my opinion :) For breakfast, it was served buffet-style, so one has a lot of options. We stuck mostly with the fried rice options and scrambled eggs, and I liked them all! The bacon was more on the soft side than the crunchy, which personally was just okay, but it was still delicious. There were other dishes on offer too, and the ones I tried were good! Definitely satisfying, but I find that the à la carte dining experience is better. We also got to experience room service (late-night coffee cravings), and the service was prompt! Have to commend the staff for that. In relation to that, we also got to experience their turndown service, where they brought local delicacies to your room every 6pm. It was such a nice gesture, and the delicacies were good too! Room - We were assigned a deluxe room with 2 queen beds and an extra bed since there were 3 of us. The beds were extremely comfy! The pillows were soft - a little too soft for my liking, but that’s down to personal preference. Also, to our surprise, we had a bathtub in the bathroom! All 3 of us got to use it at some point, so we definitely enjoyed it! We also appreciated how clean the room was, and how the staff maintained the cleanliness of it. There were some niggles, like how we couldn’t manage to get the TV working at first, but it was easily resolved by the technical staff. Well done! Amenities and Services - during our stay, I used the pool whenever I could, and I enjoyed every minute! The water seemed warm every time I went in around 4pm, so I’m not sure if they had a heater on, or it was just that hot earlier in the day. Regardless, I loved using that pool, which also had a nice view of the sea, being an infinity pool. About the staff, I have nothing bad to say. They were all attentive, welcoming and very easy to talk to! Kudos to them for a job well done! Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here in The Bellevue Resort. I’m hoping I can bring my significant other here too, so we can experience a lot more of what the resort can offer. I’m excited to return!…
