The hotel was extremely busy with a wedding, which seemed fine at first, until we rang down to say it was extremely noisy outside our room which was just down from the banqueting suite, where the disco was being held. There were extremely noisy people talking outside our room until late and when we asked, as we were ready to... More

I absolutely loved it here, my only gripe is that the recently refurbished rooms are too modern; if I'm staying in a castle I want it to feel like a castle! The staff were excellent, and the evening meal was fantastic; the best cheesecake I've ever had, the breakfast wasn't quite as good though sadly. Excellent value at just under... More

The rooms were quite basic/small but do seem to have what you need for a short stay. Bed very comfortable, lovely pillows and decent shower. Staff friendly and would come back again. Didn't stay for food so unable to comment.

Very good location, just a short drive to Liverpool. Clean and comfortable rooms. Even got a little tour of their main dining room and a history lesson of the room. Very helpful and courteous waistband. Enjoyed their restaurant and bar after a day touring. Nice views of the water and a great place for walking or jogging.

We stayed here on a cold Sunday night but the hotel was nice and warm. The staff were very friendly, we ate a nice selection of tapas in the bar which has an excellent selection of cocktails. Slept well followed by a good buffet breakfast.

Spent one night on a Groupon deal which included tapas and cocktails. Having read the negative reviews we went to our room with some trepidation. We were happily surprised to find a totally refurbished room with a sea view. Superb bed meant for a great nights sleep. Huge ultra modern bathroom, lovely toiletries and fluffy towels. Other plusses were large... More

Booked on Hotels.com at 14.30 and we arrived at the hotel at 18.30. Very nice exterior, very easy to find, lovely room overlooking the golf course/beach/estuary. You could see Liverpool in the distance. Loads of parking. Lovely clean, refurbished room and a huge bathroom. Could do with some new pillows, but overall a very nice place to stay. We would... Our family of 4 stayed here midweek in the half term for a Liverpool city break. We loved our time here. The staff were very friendly, and the room was large and comfortable, with a big tv and wi-fi. The location is excellent, a few minutes from the park and ride station, and close to the beach. We didn't have... More
