My husband treated me to a overnight getaway to Glenfinnan house hotel . We've been many times for food but never stayed. The Jacobite suite is huge with a lovely four poster bed and en suite with a jacuzzi bath. The views are out of this world. The hotel had a lovely card waiting and chocolates from my favourite place...

We spent one night at the Glenfinnan House in August. So glad we did - the place had such great atmosphere and the food was excellent. We arrived during the busy dinner hour but David was still able to welcome us and take us to our room. Even though we hadn't made a dinner reservation ahead of time, we found...

We are two couples who booked here for a special dinner. The welcome was less than courteous and the manager who greeted us was positively rude especially since we had a booking made from Australia. This kind of welcome spoils the experience as the dining room was wonderful and the food excellent. If they are to promote themselves as a...

A very welcoming and tranquil place to stay. The staff are very friendly along with the locals at the bar. Every room downstairs has a lovely log fire burning all the time which adds to the atmosphere. The hotel is situated on the edge of the loch so has fantastic views which ever way you look. We stayed for 2...

Booked the fireside table so Sally the dog could join us for dinner. It was my first visit though friends had been a few times before. The hotel is right on Loch side and felt right at home with the friendliness of the staff from the minute we stepped through the door. I had the pate starter which was lovely...

This is one of those special places-- not fancy schmancy, but SO atmospheric because of the setting, the building, and the people, who obviously care to provide a quality product. Our whirlwind trip around Scotland only had us staying here two nights, but in my dreams I come and settle in here for a week and just walk and enjoy...

This was a fantastic find! After following the Glenfinnan viaduct trial we ended here, over looking the Loch. The setting is stunning and the hotel itself is so beautiful, it has real character. The food was delicious, with generous portions and there was plenty for the kids to choose from too. They made our Jack Russell welcome too. We shall...

We loved this hotel. Everything was perfect. Nice room(s) with even Spa bath. Very clean. Great staff. The interior of the hotel is superb, with a nice fireplace.
