This is one of those special places-- not fancy schmancy, but SO atmospheric because of the setting, the building, and the people, who obviously care to provide a quality product. Our whirlwind trip around Scotland only had us staying here two nights, but in my dreams I come and settle in here for a week and just walk and enjoy... More

This was a fantastic find! After following the Glenfinnan viaduct trial we ended here, over looking the Loch. The setting is stunning and the hotel itself is so beautiful, it has real character. The food was delicious, with generous portions and there was plenty for the kids to choose from too. They made our Jack Russell welcome too. We shall... More

We loved this hotel. Everything was perfect. Nice room(s) with even Spa bath. Very clean. Great staff. The interior of the hotel is superb, with a nice fireplace. Great bar where we met some very nice local people to talk to. Great food , also one of the best dinners we had during our trip. Even witnessed a musical night... More

Table booked for celebration dinner, staff were first class as was the hotel.A beautiful setting. We visit this hotel restaurant every year, which falls around my Husbands birthday. It has a welcoming log fire on entry. Much appreciated in this neck of the woods.

We were advised by our hosts to visit for dinner. What a true pleasure it was. The atmosphere at the hotel is wonderful, grounds beautiful and overall simply charming. We had dinner in the bar area as the restaurant was booked. No matter, we ordered from the restaurant menu and were extremely pleased with our meals and the coziness of... More

We were only at the Glenfinnan House Hotel for one night, but it was super pleasant and when I return to Scotland, I plan to spend several nights here. The staff are delightful and the location is incredible. The house itself has a wonderful charm, and we truly loved feeling disconnected from a busy-touristy vibe. I can't wait to make... More

Very fun house in Glenfinnan. Very open atmosphere where you can lounge with a cocktail and sit by the fireplace until the wee hours. I left a very expensive pair of glasses in the bathroom and the staff was diligent about searching for them and following through with sending them back to me. Definitely a good place to stay

We stopped for lunch with a group of friends hiking/walking in the Highlands. We were only there for lunch, but had a chance to look around the hotel, as well. The food was excellent and the dining area and bar had great character. The setting was simply spectacular. Great views of Loch Sheil and the amazing mountains. We were treated... More

Wow ! Wlhat a setting for a wedding , beautiful hotel, has an old fashioned, style looks like you have walked into a theatrical set for a murder mystery. Loved the log fire, spa bath, views, very comfortable bed. Food, staff, all excellent.
