We stayed a few days at Glenfinnan House Hotel and wish we could come back soon. This isn't a 'show off' place but a hotel of solid quality and great hospitality. Where to start; the staff were all very friendly, helpful and happy to share ideas and advice on what to do. Food at the restaurant and bar were great...

OMG this is a beautiful self catering cottage owned by the hotel, and is simply the Best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. It is warm and welcoming and you feel so relaxed and comfortable the minute you walk through the door. Huge log fire and a welcome gift of wine and hotel jam awaited. I cannot recommend this...

If your looking for a charming, delightful and a peaceful hotel, this location will not disappoint, as it's awesome!!! The staff are very friendly and are extremely willing to help. We stayed two nights in the Jacobite Suite in September. The staff treated us like royalty. Meals were amazing and the view across the lake to the monument was stunning. The manager made sure we knew the walking trails locally and made sure we had our itinerary worked out.

We called in for dinner, not knowing what to expect. The hotel and restaurant is in a grand old house, very Scottish and refs on the inside. We were lucky to find the last available table in the bar area (make sure you book!). Our meals were delicious, as were the accompanying drinks. If you're in the area, do go...

Four of us dined here on Thursday evening and would highly recommend the hotel. The food was delicious and the staff courteous and friendly. The views are amazing looking over Loch Shiel. If you want a real 'Scottish' experience we would highly recommend the Glenfinnan House Hotel - deer heads on the walls on entering and a huge log fire.

Highly recommend lunch at the Glenfinnan House before hiking to the viaduct and trail. Food was delicious, as was the tea, and the host was kind enough to tell us the best path to take to the viaduct and beyond.

Our party of six arrived on a cool and at times wet September (2016) after noon after a full day of sight seeing around Inverness and were welcomed in the lobby by a glowing log fire with comfortable seating. After checking in a wee nip in front of the fire and then a short walk. Later had a great dinner...
