Driving on my favorite route in Bonnie Scotland from Fort William to Mallaig, I was fortunate to spend a night in this wonderful hotel! Great meals with produce from local providers and mostly home made and exceptional service! Thank you!
A very warm welcome at the Prince’s House which is in an excellent location for access to Skye. Comfortable rooms and superb food. The hotels is very close to Mallaig and the ferry to and from Skye. The road between the hotel and Mallaig is a superb biking road.
We spent one night in this hotel as part of our trip round the highlands. We were greeted very warmly by Isa and Jan, who were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is very quaint and a little old-fashioned with very homely touches, which was lovely in the breakfast room, but slightly too "busy" with knicknacks in the bedroom for our taste. We had a lovely dinner in the hotel, and the breakfast was superb. Like other hotels we stayed in, it's difficult to create any atmosphere without music or people mixing in the bar area, and this was no different, but I think the owners did their very best - they made an effort to chat with guests, and made us feel very welcome. If you're looking for a relaxing stay, this could be the place for you.
My wife and I had been invited by friends to Glenfinnan to visit them and the local attractions, including the Glenfinnan Railway Museum, the Monument and Visitor Centre, and, of course, to enjoy the absolutely breath-taking scenery. We were booked into The Prince's House Hotel for three nights, and we could not have been made more welcome. Although all necessary anti-covid rules were applied diligently, this did not in any way diminish the enjoyment of our stay at this very comfortable hotel. The owners, Ina and Kieron, could not have been more welcoming, and the food and drink on offer were of the highest quality. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend a few days in this wonderful part of the world.
We were on a 15 day road trip through Scotland and this Hotel was definitely our favourite. The rooms were comfortable , the food was great and the owners / staff that we met (Ina & Jan) were very welcoming. We felt really comfortable here .. would highly recommend !
