2 couples stayed in this hotel as we went to a federweisser fest in Zell on the weekend. Both rooms were small but the beds were very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was more than adequate. I really enjoyed the antiques & nicknacks in the dining rooms. We enjoyed strolling around the picturesque town & would like to...

Hotel Reiler Hof is a hidden gem in the Mosel. I chose the hotel because of its location as it was the perfect overnight stop for the maiden voyage on my new motorbike. The Eifel and Mosel are renowned to offer some of Europe's finest riding roads... When I arrived at the hotel there were no lengthy formalities only a...

No link with the pictures. Really desappointed. We have been directed in a second building next to the Reiler Hof. Group of 8 rooms, nobody had a bedroom like on the pics. I would definitely avoid it. Service is good, breakfast is normal, prices are OK only the hotel is under level

The first time me wife and I came her we just visited the restaurant. On our honeymoon we decided to come back and stay in the hotel. We loved it. Our room was just gorgeous. We got to choose between two rooms and we choose one on the top level. We had to climb a lot of stairs, but it...

Chef Christoph Heim has gotten rave reviews in the German press. Our planned exploration of the Moselle river wine region began here. The rooms are simple and very comfortable. We had wine on the patio before dinner. Very relaxing watching the boats and bikers go by. Take your time and enjoy the gorgeous breakfast. Hopefully on the patio/deck if the...

Ones opinion of a place is always coloured by the anticipation of the visit. You check their website, look at pictures and start imagining yourself in one of their best rooms. You then get a bit disappointed when, checking in, you are guided to a neighbouring house, where you are shown a small, crooked room that probably better matches the...

Despite turning up here on an extremely hot day and looking very bedraggled we were treated with real professionalism. The expert staff made us at home very quickly. We stayed one night but wish it had been longer. It is in a perfect position, overlooking the river. There is an extremely good restaurant possibly one of the better ones on...

Even though we had called in advance and requested a room on the ground floor, we were sent to the third floor - up three horrible flights of stairs, dragging our heavy suitcases. We are in Europe for a month, so no carry-on bags for us. Anyway, the hotel is a typical small Gasthaus in a boring small village. There...

We had lunch on the way out on the borders of the Mosel at the Reiler Hof - initially attracted by the magnificient hanging board, the restaurant was excellent, both food and service. As a result we came back the next day, to find that the restaurant lady knew exactly what I drank and ate the day before, bravo!

We did not stayed in the hotel but had a birthday dinner at the restaurant. We had dinner and lunch here. The Hotel lies directly at the river. We had a table directly at the window. The service was attentive, knowledgable and humorous. She helped us choosing the perfect wine for dinner. We had the lamb rack and the big...
