As with some other reviewers, we booked this for just one night in between visits to Modena and Bologna. It is ideally situated for this. In a beautiful setting with a large working orchard, the facilities are excellent. We were on the second level of the converted silo. A really comfortable and clever conversion. Unfortunately, didn't have the chance to...

I really felt like that when we were hosted in La Lupa. Although our Italian trip was fully scheduled to see as much of Italy as possible, we decided to stay there for one more night and enjoy the countryside, swimming pool and everything that La Lupa offers and just hang out aimlessly :) The best spontaneous idea we have...

We stayed here for three nights. The hosts were nice, small but clean room with a swimming pool right next to the room. The last day we had to leave earlier and the host prepared the coffee and some breakfast for us. The only drawback is that we tried three times calling the owner before we arrive and when we...

We spent one night at "La Lupa" after a day in Bologna and a visit to Modena the next morning. We had requested a downstairs room and got the groundfloor suite in a converted silo which was fun and quite cosy though obviously the space was restricted. I appreciated having a vase of fresh roses in our bathroom and a...

They place looks ideal with nice buildings, a pool, etc. we stayed as 2 families with separate rooms. We have 5 kids between us aged 7, 5, 4, 3, and 2. There are many things which can be improved: -the beds are hard -there is no air conditioning so you wake up in a pool of sweat during the summer...

La Lupa is a renovated old farmhouse, that the owner Franco has transformed into an amazing getaway int he Italian countryside near to Bologna. We stayed for 2 night and we reserved the rooms in the silo, which was a duplex room where our kids slept upstairs and we slept downstairs, there is AC that works great and we had...

Idyllic location close to Bologna. Staff were lovely, providing a friendly welcoming atmosphere and great recommendations. Unfortunately we were there during peak season and there was only one night's availability. I must say that we were very disappointed to leave and wished we could have stayed longer. We were also there on a night when they don't open their restaurant,...

Have been coming to La Lupa on both business trips and family holidays for over three years. Franco and his team provide great service, many memorable meals. It's within striking distance of Bolgana and Modena and some of the best food in the world. Walking around the property, hitting a few balls on the driving range or swimming in the...
