The apartment was spotless and cleaned everyday. There was a TV and 2 large comfortable single beds in the main bedroom, continental style and 1 bed in the smaller second room. Towels, and toiletries like soap, shampoo and bodywash were included in the bathroom. Which was small but perfect. The kitchen had a fridge, with a bottle of water,a nice touch after arriving late at night. There was also a hob and microwave if you wanted to cook. They provided all the cutlery and crockery needed and washing up liquid and t towels. Another tv, sofa bed and table and chairs are in the main area off the kitchen. We had a good sized balcony with tables and chairs, overlooking the pool, for our apartment block which got the evening sun. There is also another pool in the main hotel, which had a pool bar and activities throughout the day. You can rent beach towels from reception €10 each and €18 for the safe for the week. We stayed bed and breakfast and there was a wide variety of nice options to choose from. We also ate in the hotel a couple of evenings. It cost €18 each plus €3 for unlimited soft drinks or €6 for beer and wine. The staff are so helpful and friendly. I honestly can't fault the place for the price we paid. We are thinking of returning next year.

I can’t commend this hotel enough. It’s been a while since we’ve been to less than 5 star resort, however this year we left it last minute and couldn’t find anything else available in Puerto Pollença. Well I’m so pleased we found this hotel, the rooms are clean and spacious, great air conditioning, pool is lovely and well maintained, no rush for sun beds at dawn! The two bed apartment we stayed in was perfect for our family of 5, the two bedrooms had two sets of single beds and then there was a sofa bed in the living room. There’s a kitchenette with a hob, microwave, kettle, fridge and small freezer shelf at the top, plus everything you need to make sandwiches and light meals. There’s also an outdoor area behind the apartment with a drying line and outdoor sink, perfect to keep your beach things. The hotel runs a complimentary bus service for a couple of hours each morning and afternoon to take you into town. Across the road from the apartments you’ll find a convenience store (like a spar), slightly more expensive than the eroski in town, but your paying for convenience I suppose. The walk to town is all pretty level and takes around 15 min. The hotel hire beach towels for 10 euros (which is refundable when their returned), this saves you some luggage allowance. Their was entertainment at the main hotel, duva most nights, we didn’t attend but it sounded good.
I also want to thank the staff at the hotel, they went above and beyond to help us out when we stupidly left our passports in our room! Not only did they retrieve them quickly, they also sorted out a taxi that delivered them promptly to the airport so we didn’t miss our flight.

We stayed in a two bedroom ground floor apartment. The main bedroom was modern with two single beds. The second bedroom had room to put a sofa bed in which our teenage son complained was rock hard. We were self catering and had everything needed for basic needs. Like the bathroom both needed modernising. The air con was a welcome addition during our stay. The pool was quiet most days with plenty of sun beds but only a few umbrellas. The pool is very deep so I think many families with younger children choose the larger and safer pool at its sister hotel across the road (and more umbrellas) There is a snack bar there providing burgers and sandwiches etc. There are two pool tables both in poor condition charging 2 euros. Although we were the self catering we did try the hotels Italian restaurant nearby which served basic fare. We also tried the buffet evening meal at the hotel which I would describe as ok. The main drawer for us was going to the beach and eating out at the restaurants in the resort. The walk to the harbour area is a good 20 minute from Duva next to a busy road. There is a free mini bus running every 20 minutes in the day time, which will drop you off and bring you back. Tickets are available at the reception. If you are self catering there is a small supermarket a short distance away that practically sells everything you need including fresh bread. Our only real issue for us with the Duva was its location and as a result we would not likely return.

We are on our third day here, (as of 31/08/24 ) It is quite lovely, great pools and the two bedroom apartments in the Duvabitat side are perfect for families, the staff are very friendly. Only issue we have is that they won’t provide us with net curtains after asking reception twice and the house keeping staff today (who said it was not possible) the rooms in the other side of the hotel, like every other hotel I have stayed in, have two layers of curtain's one black-out and another net curtain to prevent the whole pool crowd seeing you naked when you wake up! Also would help with the terrible mosquito problem. While this might seem like a minor issue my wife is breastfeeding our son so for her to have a little privacy in the bedroom or living room she has to close the curtains and be in the dark or turn the lights on! Not good for mosquitoes or the environment! A ground floor room with a completely unobstructed view of the pool with children playing should have net curtains for privacy anyway, there is a spare rail on the inside of the main curtain rail so this is obviously something that was originally in the room design, the hotel have clearly just decided that it’s too much trouble to keep them, if this issue were to be resolved I would have no other reason to not stay here again.

I apologise for the issue you wrote regarding the curtains, Many years ago there was a black-out courtain and a normail courtain, that was replaced for the current courtains, thicker than normal ones to perform both functions. We couldn't provide other courtains as we do not have the old ones and no other with the same lenght. It's nice to read that despite the problem with the courtains, the rest, pools, apartment and staff was nice. Yours sincerely.

I’ve stayed at Duva many times over the course of 20 years but this was my first time at Duvhabitat apartments. It’s evident that these apartments aren’t as premium as the Duva ones- worth noting that the second bedroom only has a single bed, but there is a double sofa bed in the lounge. These apartments also don’t have an oven but do have a microwave and 2 ring hob. The floor hadn’t been cleaned when we arrived and was really filthy but the maid came the next day and sort of cleaned it but left the dirt around the edges. The shower head is pretty useless but this is really common in Majorca with the lime scale. What I love about Duva in general is the friendliness of all the staff and the fantastic facilities, 3 pools to choose from and swings and slides dotted around. It was never too busy and sun beds were plentiful. All in all another good stay

We booked Duva mainly because of the sports facilities, as we were travelling with our 11 and 14 year olds. They enjoyed the tennis and indoor pool, as the outside pools were cold and not so appealing. This was a shame as the weather was so good. The indoor pool was ok but only open for children between 11-1pm and on the second visit we had to buy swimming hats for them.
Even though we knew the apartment would be basic, we were not expecting it to be as dingy as it was. The bathroom in particular needs attention and whole place a spruce up. The second bedroom was tiny and dark with two sofa beds. The air conditioning worked ok but gave off an unpleasant smell so we couldn’t use it. The apartment was well appointed, right next to the swimming and a lovely terrace, but it just had the feel of a static caravan. The cleaners came a few times to change the sheets etc but it still felt a bit ‘icky’.
The walk to town was about 15mins but not a very nice one along a main road. Pollensa port is lovely when you get there with lots of nice restaurants etc.
Duva is fine for a cheap and cheerful break in an ok location but we won’t be rushing back. I think it needs a lot of investment to bring it up to that 4* apart hotel it advertises.

We would highly recommend the accommodation. Our room was in block I which faced the pool. Unlike the hotel’s main pool, it was much quieter and ideal for the kids to play with their inflatables. The room was excellent (newly refurbished lounge and bedrooms;although the bathroom and kitchen hadn’t been updated) with an incredible air conditioning system which allowed us to keep the room at 18C throughout the day. We stayed on a half board basis and was very pleased with the quality of food on offer. Whilst the amount of choice is not as wide ranging as some of the bigger hotels, the food on offer was of a high quality. We generally opted to drink water from the drinks machine during the evening meal which was free. The entertainment in the evenings was typical for a family hotel and a round of drinks (2 beers and 2 soft drinks) was around 11 Euros. The hotel runs a free shuttle bus in the morning to the beach which is useful, although as you familiarise yourself with the area it’s not too far to walk. There is also a local bus service running along the road opposite the hotel. The Euroski supermarket is around 10 minutes walk away which is ideal for buying bread, fruit and nibbles. There is also a decent gym within the basement of the building which is used by both locals and hotel guests. Overall, due to the proximity of the hotel being outside the main Port de Pollenca tourist area, the hotel is very reasonable priced and comes highly recommended.

The thing that makes this so special are the staff. From the night man who met us when we arrived through to reception staff, cleaners pool man and maintenance everyone carries out their duties with a smile and are so eager to help. The hotel suited us perfectly with sliding doors out to the pool from both of the apartments we had. The hotel was used by a lot of cyclists which had the added benefit of a very quiet pool during the day. We didn’t venture to the other pool during out 2 week visit as the pool by our apartment was perfect. There is a very good restaurant (at the tennis courts) and some more a 3 minute walk away. The main resort is a 10 - 15 minute walk away with countless restaurants, sea, sand and harbour. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the apartments & facilities were excellent. The children loved the smaller pool which has a good shallow section where they can stand. The free shuttle bus which runs into the town was handy when it was available. Perhaps it could run for longer periods during the day? It's about a 20 minute walk into the town/beach or a 7/8 euro taxi ride.

I arrived at this pleasant apartment complex for a 5 day break. We checked into the apartment and it was as hot as an oven. The outside temperature was 32 Centigrade and it was a lot higher inside. The air conditioner was not working and was blowing out hot air withoutcooling it. We complained immediately and was told it would take a few hours to cool down. An engineer came immediately and said the air conditioner is very unlikely to keep the apartment cool. We immediately asked for a cancellation and a refund as it was unlivable in the heat and a health hazard . The ladies at reception were extremely helpful but were unable to do that immediately and said they had to discuss it with their manager when they arrive later. We left it at that and left the apartments and booked an alternative place where the air conditioner actually works and cools the room. Today they sent an email with a 50% refund and explanation " regarding the A/C, we are sure there are no problems with it and that it works properly. Obviously, temperatures this days have been really high due to the heat wave we are in right now but this is something we cannot control. 32 degrees Centigrade in Pollenca Mallorca would hardly be considered a heat wave here.

It is about 20 minutes walk to the beach and a little further to the marina area. I am not sure about a shuttle service, We walked everywhere. Hope that helps.
There are more places to choose from in the Port de Pollenca area.
