We stayed here from 18 to 25 October on the A/I deal. The hotel is lovely, not as modernised as much as I had been led to believe, but still lovely. I don't like heights and prior to arrival, I sent a request for a room on the 2nd/3rd floor. When we checked in, we were allocated a room on the 7th floor. Strangely enough, it didn't give me a problem. The room was quite spacious and had good facilities within. Again, it was not as modern as thought, but lovely. I would have liked a bigger balcony, but it did have a table and 2 chairs. The restaurant served good food and there was a lot of choice. the "yellow bar" which is the poll bar was ok, but due to the weather they decided to close it for a few days and that function was moved to the inside bar, no problem. We used the spa which was lovely. Just a few minutes walk into the local shops/bars and restaurants. Only 5 euros into the harbour. The outside pool is good and quite large. Due to the time of season there was not a lot of amenities available and on occasions, live entertainment, but on that front, the 2 lady singers were superb.

Lovely hotel, great food, immaculately kept. Friendly and very professional staff . Two fantastic swimming pools .Probably the best thing about the hotel ( apart from the great food in the well managed dining room) is the help and courtesy of the staff whose priority is that guests enjoy their holiday

I stayed for a week (solo) mainly for cycling, in October. I booked a double room (all inclusive) with sea views and asked for a room higher up - I was given one on 7th floor overlooking the pool. The Hotel was busy, 80-90% full, I would say mainly due to the cyclists.

What I liked:

Very good food, plenty of variety and always something nice, although one morning they served a tray of broccoli at breakfast - not sure who would eat that.

Superb Spa facilities - Jacuzzi, sauna, spa pool, steam room, which I made use of most days.

Comfortable bed, nice view from room towards sea and mountains.

Easy convenient and secure bike storage facilities in the basement, lots of space.

Reception staff friendly and helpful.

Wifi signal good.

Great location, only a couple of minutes to the beach and the Pine walk

What I didn’t like: The coffee. The machines are Necta brand and we have same brand machine in our office, although it is a bigger model, and the drinks from it are good, but the coffee from these Necta machines in the Hotel was poor, perhaps due to the quality of the coffee beans or the way they have been set up. I drank juice instead with breakfast and instead went for coffee from one of the nearby cafe’s (Tolo’s and Vitho are both excellent)

Shower water flow in room was very weak, and continually changed temperature every 20-30 seconds.

Sound proofing between rooms is poor - especially considering it is a 4 star Hotel. I was out most days either cycling or sightseeing/going to the beach. I don’t have super sensitive hearing but for example, at different times I could clearly hear words from conversations, ( they weren't on the balcony), phone alarms going off, phones vibrating, kettles being plugged in, kettles boiling, taps, showers, toilets being used/flushed, words from tv programmes. The walls to the sides are plasterboard and hollow-sounding. Whether this is the case on all the floors/rooms I don’t know.

Doors were noisy to close because you can't turn the handle down when leaving the room so they had to be pulled shut. You can turn the handle down when closing the door on the inside.

€20 to hire the safe for a week is rather expensive.

I didnt sit out near the outdoor swimming pool as I was cycling most days or on the beach/sightseeing, but when I was in the room with balcony door open or sat on the balcony, you could hear the poolside music. Not really an issue for me and if you like that sort of thing, but I imagine if I was lower down and wanted to spend some quiet time on the balcony, this would be annoying - if you want a quieter room ask for one not overlooking the pool.

Although there looks to be ample room for cyclists to store their bikes in the one of the basement storage areas (I did), many still stored them in their rooms, which means lifts were often blocked - to avoid un-necessary delays for others, perhaps the Hotel might consider make it compulsory to store bikes in the basement. I often used the steps due to the lifts being blocked/people queueing up to use them, but others won't be able to do this.
I rate the Hotel 4/5 and would certainly consider staying here again

The view alone would bring me back to this hotel! We had a sea view room on floor 7 overlooking the pool and bay. I sat on the balcony watching the sun come up one way and go down the other. The bay is stunning! Yes there are niggles such as poor food and small drinks for full price (We were only on bed and breakfast) but the rooms were clean and modern, beds really comfy and the pool area spacious and clean. And did I mention the view??

Just returned from spending 10 days at the Pollensa Park and can't praise this hotel enough. Location, the facilities, the rooms but most importantly the staff went way over and above their duties to ensure we were having a great time. Have been to the hotel once before and have already booked to return next year.
