Our hotel is a cozy & friendly 3 star hotel in the centre of Puerto PollenƧa, in northern Mallorca. The hotel has been lovingly/carefully restored in 2015 trying to harmonize the Mediterranean heritage that characterizes the environment with an exquisite contemporary taste for vintage decor. The hotel is located right in front of the seaside and the nautical club of Puerto PollenƧa, an area where you can find all kinds of businesses, restaurants and leisure venues, in addition to the possibilities offered by the town. PollenƧa is well-known for being a privileged location from which you can easily access all kind of beaches, bays and wonderful places such as the Cap Formentor. At the Eolo we have a total of 49 rooms, most of them with terrace and sea views. They are equipped with all necessary services to enjoy a stay of maximum comfort. The bedrooms with their Mediterranean design create a fresh and cozy atmosphere. Located at the entrance of the hotel is our traditional trattoria, where we serve all types of pasta. We follow our own recipe and all food is homemade plus we have a stone oven for pizzas respecting Neapolitan traditions.

The hotel is a budget very basic hotel. As a hotel guest you do have to wait around for someone to come from the restaurant to the reception, there were also no beach towels for 3 days of our visit so we had to buy some. The lift needs an update its very smelly in there. Staff are very friendly and the cleaners went above and beyond. We ate pizza there once it was good and the nachos were amazing . Guests get 10 percent discount but a 10 percent service charge os added to your receipt we did not experience this anywhere else in the area but always tipped above that anyway. Breakfast does not get replenished very well at all often no juice or water, ran out of bread rolls etc. Although I have no major complaints I would not stay again.

Ok so here is a lengthy review of our recent stay .
First , the positives
Fantastic location right in the centre . Really friendly reception. Very helpful. Strong WiFi connection. Maids will change your bed daily if you want them to. Choice of pillows . Shower is good. We were able to check in early .
Now for the not so great (might seem picky but want to give a thorough overview)
Rooms are very tired . (We upgraded to partial seaview) Balcony has broken tiles . Bathroom peeling doors. There are loose sheets on top of the very thin mattress protectors which end up coming away in the night (much better to have a fitted bottom sheet) . The balcony light is permanently on so light comes through the screwed up , ill fitting curtain . There are gaps around the whole of the entrance door so light floods in here too. Skirting boards and floor corners need a good clean. There is no mirror where the plug socket is & the wardrobe door , which has the full length mirror doesnā€™t stay open , so the only way that I could do my hair is to prop my case in front of the wardrobe door and sit on the floor . Because of its great location itā€™s noisy to sit on the balcony
Breakfast - good selection of pastries and a small amount of fruit . No tongs to get the sliced bread out of the basket so had to use fingers . This didnā€™t seem fresh either . Eggs were cooked and put on a hot plate which just set the yolks hard . Beans cold and dried up . Bacon was lukewarm.
All in all you get what you pay for and the room did the job but we wouldnā€™t return until they had a decent refurb rather than a sticking plaster over it all .

super cozy hotel atmosphere during the whole day, everything clean and I really liked the design, also very cool terrace on the top. Great variety for breakfast, they we making sure all the time that nothing was missing, still bringing new items even before closing time. You can enjoy breakfast inside or outside on terrace with the views to the port. The hotel has also italian restaurant with good prices and offer. Hotel is in the center, has perfect location, close to bus stop and surrounded by restaurants, bars, shops. Room has AC, kettle, and all you need. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and come back. Hotel is also bike friendly :)

We chose this hotel mainly for the cycling facilities for my boyfriend. The location is fantastic being right on the front and close to all restaurants, shops and the beach. Breakfast has a good choice of continental but there could be a little more choice for the cooked option. The only downside re breakfast is it doesnā€™t start until 8am and whereas this was fine for me and probably others my boyfriend was out cycling by 7/7.30 and so he missed breakfast each day and made do with a breakfast bar. Perhaps the hotel would consider an early breakfast option for cyclists?

I had booked the cyclist package via booking.com which was an interior facing room. Whilst this would be okay for cyclists who are maybe out all day and just want somewhere to crash at the end of the day this wasnā€™t suitable for a couple. It was a tiny room with no view at all. We asked to upgrade on our second day and the staff were extremely accommodating and we managed to change to a sea view room with balcony which was perfect for the rest of our stay.
The cycling package included a ā€˜welcome basket with fruits and cereal bars, water, detox water and a free glass of cavaā€™ but we didnā€™t get this. To be honest I didnā€™t mention this to the staff as we had already mentioned about the small room so I didnā€™t want to be a nuisance but I think if this isnā€™t included in the cycling package then booking.com/Eolo shouldnā€™t list these as an extra.

Overall our stay was great. All the staff are lovely and we would definitely stay again.

Stayed here last week. We expected the rooms to be small and they were, but it had everything we needed. Nice bathroom, Air conditioning. The hotel is very close to the front, so itā€™s good for families etc. I would say the breakfast is lacking a little something, but at this price you canā€™t fault it. Staff are all friendly enough and happy to help you.

Also if youā€™re looking for nice pictures, make sure to go on the rooftop terrace and order a cocktail at the same time!

We booked Hotel Eolo for a 5 night cycling holiday. The hotel is in an excellent location, very near the port and plenty of bars and restaurants. Despite this, the room rates are very reasonable, and the hotel itself is modern and clean.

We had a side sea view room with a balcony. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms have air-conditioning which is a must in the hotter months. The shower wasn't bad, but now powerful enough for my liking, and the temperature fluctuated quite a lot.

We booked this last minute as we were on Majorca for a birthday party and decided to extend and visit Pollensa.

Stayed as a couple in Aug 2024.

Check in was excellent, really friendly and despite the fact we were early, the girl checked with the maids and found the room was available. So we were able to get changed and freshened up before exploring the local area.

We were not expecting much for the money but it by far, exceeded expectations for us. Our room was right on the front, with the (large) balcony overlooking the port and sea. the sun rise was stunning and watching the world go by with a glass of wine could not have been more pleasant.

Room: 404 probably has one of the best views of all the rooms so we were very lucky there. It is however, very small. The bathroom is also tiny but everything works, the AC is ice cold, the shower is excellent and there is a fridge and safe as well. It is a little tired in the decor especially in the bathroom but here's the thing. It's not expensive either. It met our expectations and more. But we would say that it may become a bit tiresome for longer than a few days.

Breakfast is very good. There is a large choice of hot and continental options.

If you have a car with you, be prepared to drop the bags off and then go park wherever you can. We had about a 5 min walk back from where we finally parked.

Location is superb and right on the front, beach is just across the road and numerous restaurants are nearby. They offer 10% discount on dinner at the Capri Hotel and I would definitely eat there as the food was superb. See my other review but I would definitely make use of that.

Many thanks for the staff for our stay.

Negative:
We stayed in room 412 (we didn't have a view apart from a wall)
The hot food was not warm (beans were slightly cold) They only serve bacon eggs and beans ...however they have plenty of fresh pastr, fruits cereal. I must say the yogurt is really nice.

Possitive:
Great Location
The staff are really friendly and helpful
Plenty of shops bars and restaurants within 5min walk
There are a few banks near by
The Dock is opposite the hotel
Transport is easy and close by.

I just can wait to go back.

Overall 8/10

So just this evening I visited the Eolo hotel restaurant with my daughter to have dinner. A very rude waiter wouldn't allow me and my daughter to sit outside to eat and have dinner as there was only 2 of us and not 4! Even though there were about 5 or 6 tables empty. I tried to reason with him but he wasn't interested and had a very rude attitude towards me and my daughter.
Having walked passed 2 more times this evening at no time were the tables outside full, always there seemed to be atleast 4 or 5 tables empty.
I've stayed at this hotel before and my mother has been staying at this hotel for over 40 years needless to say I or my mother or any other members of my family will Never stay there again. The friendly family atmosphere has been lost and their attitude stinks. This is no way to treat a good paying customer.
On the bright side we ended up having dinner at the Cappucino restaurant on the seafront and the food, service and welcome was perfect.

This review is about their restaurant on the ground floor, where we did lunch. The maitre d'hotel was very professional, told us some dishes would take more time and took pains to help us choose what he thought we might like. Very child-friendly restaurant, with a good location right at the port Pollenca. Highly recommended for a meal anytime.
