Amotape provides a great place to unwind and unplug. The beach view is unbelievable! The service is amazing - and the food is off the charts! An ideal place for birders and those that enjoy the outdoors. The rooms are clean and well-kept. Amotape is perfect for families or couples.

Amotape is an amazing place. The beach is incredible. However, the owners are also very ecologically conscious. The ground are full of Bougainvillas that attract a lot of birds (saftron finches, vermillion flycatchers, mockingbirds, croaking ground doves, Tumbes swallows, pacific parrotlets, and magnificent frigate birds). Across the street, they own property that they have reforested with hiking trails and also... More

Susana and her team at Amotape will make you feel at home, but you will be staying at a beautiful location and will enjoy a quiet break. Amotape combines a great beach, nature reserve and convenient access. In addition, Tumbes has some of the best seafood in Peru, many argue the best. And, you are one step from all of... More

The hotel is incredibly beautiful and welcoming. The owner Susana is always available for tips and tricks on how to get around town and in Organos (where you can swim with turtles) Mancora (about 1 1/2 hours away) and Tumbes (about 30 minutes away). Rooms are very comfortable, all with sea view and a little terrace, the beach is literally... More

I'm an event planner who recently brought a large group of travelers from a prominent university in Baltimore to Amotape for a two night/three day stay. Let me say that we had a blast! The owner Susana and her staff were most accomodating, professional, and her menu is an impeccable selection of Northern Peruvian cuisine. Susana goes out of her... More

Amotape is beautifully situated resort on the Pacific Ocean. The beach is beautiful and the sunsets are magnificent. The owners and staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. the rooms are not plush, but very clean and comfortable. If you travel to the north part of Peru, it is the place to stay!

I stayed here for 10 days for a training course. The rooms and facilities were clean, the front desk staff speaks English, all resort staff were friendly, and the restaurant food was good. Plus the resort is right on the beach!
