With many months in the planning Lucy was generous with her time and suggestions to make our special trip a dream come true. The beautiful Villa Lucia with exquisite views, charming bedrooms, most with private bath, spacious living room, dining room and kitchen provided our large family with cooking and bonding experiences we will cherish. We went in May, 2016 for the artisan week. It was a once in a lifetime experience! Lucy arranged activities for us that included a private tour to Modena to visit the balsamic, Parmesan and prosciutto factories. We did a cooking class where we went to the marketplace bought all the food and then she taught us some great Italian... More

Ten of us stayed at Villa Lucia for a week and made it the anchor for our Tuscan visit. The house sits on the hillside among olive trees. The grounds are beautiful and spacious with spectacular views and the sweet fragrance of Jasmine permeates the air. George and Lucy (and Toto, the resident dog) are wonderful hosts. They prepared delicious... More

Staying with a group of ten. We rented the main house only. Dinner was prepared for us for our first night upon request. Great food and the views from the villa are spectacular!!! Very helpful hosts, Lucy and George, provide information about local points of interest and train schedules for sightseeing

We travelled to Villa Lucia with 13 people. Parents, kids, grandkids - what an amazing trip. The property was exactly as it was described and incredibly spacious. There are numerous areas for sleeping, hanging out, cooking, and playing and we had plenty of room. The kids LOVED the pool and grassy areas. Many games of Marco Polo, Freeze Tag, and... More

Cannot say enough about our week here with Lucy and George. Cooking, excursions, accomodations, food, company, laughter....could not have been any better. We went for the Artisan week and discovered Italy in a most unique way...getting to meet a charming 87 year old coppersmith and his wife and see him at work, went on a truffle hunt with the dogs,...
