Great room in quiet area of a fascinating town. Roxanna was incredibly helpful and accommodating with lots of tips for things to do and directions. Close to the lovely hot springs at Saturnia and other history-steeped villages in the area.

We stayed here for 5 nights over the Christmas week-end and had a great experience. Roxana is a wealth of knowledge about the area and gave us several excellent ideas for day trips. She also knew what would and wouldn't be open for the holidays so we could plan accordingly. We stayed in Borgo 2 which has rustic charm in... More

We recently spent 4 days at Il Borgo di Sempronio. It is an 'Albergo Difuso' which means there is a central reception area and the various rooms are located around the town. The accommodation was lovely, we stayed in the Sofia apartment which is very well appointed, warm and comfortable. The breakfasts were lovely too, locally sourced products where possible.... More

I stayed at the Il Borgo right after driving in from Pisa - while sightseeing around Semproniano, my car had unfortunately blew a tyre in the darkness of the Italian winter. I was still a good half an hour's drive from the Il Borgo - on calling Roxana, she literally leapt to our rescue and the very kind boss came... More

Wonderful stay for 5 nights. Semproiano can be a challenge to find, but the challenge is worth it. The town is a good central point for many of the local Tuscany treasures. Roxanne sat with me for at least 45 minutes to explain the routes to local things to do. The apartment we stayed in was a split level two... More

In the hotel we spent 5 nights during the New Year holiday. If you expect a classic hotel accommodation with the benefits of unique locations and service this is not an ideal hotel for you. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly, especially Roxane who find time to be there whenever she was needed and more. Accommodation is unusual because the... More

Roxane, the manager, is very helpful and gave us good tips on what to see and where to eat. The accommodation is close to Pitigliano, Sovana and Thermal springs at Saturnia (for which Roxane provided bath robes). We stayed in a warm and welcoming apartment in the village centre, which had small kitchen equipped with all necessary things. We also... More

We stayed 4 days and didn't want to leave. Our expectations were high based on reviews from others where the talked about meeting all the locals. We weren't disappointed. The hospitality was second to none. Each day Moreno, Antonella or Roxanne would talk to us about what we felt like and created a custom itinerary on Google Maps on the... More

Great medieval apartment in the heart of Toscana. We came late night by car, so I asked in comments to prepare a bottle of red local wine and some "tapas" - and what a delicious dinner was waiting for us!!! We had a view on a green fields, fireplace, very stylish interior with wine glasses by Villeroy&Boch, decanter and a... More
