Nestled in a serene location, Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort garners accolades for its cleanliness and varied atmosphere that ranges from vibrant to tranquil. While the spacious rooms generally receive positive remarks, a few guests have noted odors and upkeep concerns. Despite its peaceful setting, some lament the resort's distance from the airport and dated surroundings.
The resort's amenities, including diverse dining options and pools, are often praised, although the value is questioned by travelers pointing to pricey meals and service hiccups. Staff friendliness and professionalism, however, consistently earn high marks from visitors.

Detailed Reviews
At check in at no point I felt welcomed by the staff everybody seemed to be upset felt very strange especially that I have come from Dubai and I am used to 5 star customer service in our 5 star hotels !! Same in Abu Dhabi however it seems at this hotel there was no such welcome to their guests!
Access to the beach is not easy at all and only a small area of the beach available to the hotel residents.
The breakfast choices was very average and the copper lobster restaurant was average food and extremely overpriced although the only good customer service we got was at those two restaurants, the waiters were excellent.
When asked for some cutlery and plates in our 2 bedroom suite I was told we don’t actually provide this unless you order room service but it’s ok now we can give u some disposable cutlery and plates was a bit shocked from a 5 star hotel response to residents in a two bedroom suite it’s only cutlery and plates that we asked for !
The bed was very comfortable, and we were happy that the suite had 3 full bathrooms although I was told when reserving that the living room will have a toilet and not a bathroom. The wardrobes looked very basic, The price we got for this suite was very good as it was a time limited offer and it was 1850 dhs for one night for 3 adults and 1 child.
The lobby was empty no coffee shops and some shops which were closed. The valet parking was still closed due to corona and at arrival they took our luggage and we had to park our cars ourselves. The hotel building from outside was pink and looked like a 3 star hotel building and not a 5 star hotel.
The next day we were by the beach and at 11:50 we were called on our cell phone to say we need you to check out at 12 exactly for sanitizing purposes and I was like ok we will check out everything is packed and ready it’s not even 12 yet !
Overall we did not have a great experience at this hotel, and I have heard better feedback about the intercontinental Fujairah from people who have stayed at both hotels, in terms of easy access to the beach and also the hotel in general.

Dear ElhamQ, It was a great pleasure to have you staying with us and we would like to thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your recent stay with us. Our heartists professional service is a point of pride for us and we are quite disappointed to hear that you felt we underperformed in this area. We however understand reading your review that apparently you were not properly informed about our resort's services prior to your arrival and would like to take the opportunity to point out that a full description of our services is available on our website. And as the late check out being subject to availability are duly reported. due to deeply cleaning and extra sanitization for hygiene and cleanliness purposes of our resort accommodation we cannot guarantee late check outs until the departure day. We also regret though that some services and facilities were not available during your stay due to the precautionary measures being taken to avoid the spread of Covid-19. On behalf of the entire team, I wish you good health and safety in this difficult time and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the future. We got a discount through the Accor membership for a halfboard stay of two nights. We wanted to celebrate our anniversary in a quite location and this hotel was perfect. We were even greeted with a bed decorated with hearts and a lovely cake as soon as we got to the room.
Location:
Amazing! The view from our room was just so serene. We loved the calming sea view and woke up early to see the sunrise over the horizon. Thought the hotel is in a quite area, the town is just a 10 min drive away.
Accommodation:
Lovely sea view rooms with a traditional-modern fusion design and decor. Spacious bathroom with bathroom and rain shower and dual basins. Full glass wall leading to a spacious balcony. Cleanliness could be improved for a five star hotel as we noticed stains on linen/carpet.
Service:
Great service. Every single one was polite and courteous. They were also friendly and seemed genuinely interested in giving the best service.
Food:
We were limited to set menu as a precaution during the COVID season. The options seemed quite limited for dinners though breakfast was perfect. Even though variety was limited, everything that was served was delicious and fresh tasting and in generous portions. Expected atleast soft drinks/juices with the dinner for halfboard but only water is inclusive.
Other :
Loved the adult pool as it was quite and perfect for a relaxing dip without a lot of crowds and kids. Temperature controlled at the right level.
Beach still had remains of oil from a previous oil spillage (not the hotel’s fault) but was clearly informed on boards.
Overall we had a pleasant stay!

Stayed here for 2 nights first staycation in covid times.
To settle the nerves this hotel follows the Covid protocols very religiously and diligently with temperature checks at various points, staff equipped with gloves and masks all through and sanitizers all around the hotel.
Can’t think of an instance where staff was without the requisite and also maintained safe distance whilst maintaining their charm serving guests all around. The no. Of staff was certainly less given the lower occupancy but the team clearly exceeded themselves in all they did to ensure service is not compromised.
Check in:
Staff at Check in was fantastic, quick and without any hesitation or questions asked we were accepted for early check in. Thanks to Christine and Niola.
Whilst no valet, the hotel has arranged a buggy from parking to the reception (not any far though).
Room:
The room was on 2nd floor it gave us a good view of the lava pool, beach and the adjacent road.
The room was sanitized, well arranged and equipped with all basics. The bed, pillows and the sofa seat were all very cozy and comfortable. View from the balcony was facing the lava pool and beach and the balcony furniture too was cleaned well.
Restaurants:
We stayed half board and being vegetarians our dietary requirements were well taken care off.
We had all our meals at Canvas restaurant breakfast and dinner was sumptuous the service top notch and quality of good excellent. Mention goes to Mostafa, Zirari, Ziad and all the other team members whose name I could not recollect.
Pool:
We spent a lot of time at Lava pool and by far one of the best we have used in UAE hotels, clean being sanitized daily and also have 6 jacuzzis. As did not use the beach and hence not commented.
Well done team Fairmont, thanks and we had a great time looking forward again.

We spent two nights at the Fairmont in Fujairah, which is a rather ugly pink building set in a fairly nondescript coastal location. The rooms are overly simple, the lobby areas are bland, the children's pool area is bright orange and unpleasant in appearance, which would explain the absence of photos of this area on the hotel website. The quality of food is generally okay, but breakfast on Saturday morning resembled a feeding frenzy in a staff canteen.
The biggest issue we encountered was on the waterpark in the bay. There are sharp edges on every step and under the water surface due to various sea creatures growing. My family and I suffered terrible cuts and scratches across our bodies (see photos) and emerged with blood literally dripping from our arms and legs. The lifeguards' response was to wander over with a few tiny alcohol wipes. Their explanation for the issue was that unless they cleaned the steps and structure everyday, the sharp edges were unavoidable. They pointed at the rocks adjacent to the waterpark to show what was growing there.
I raised the matter at the point of checkout and the hotel's security manager was summoned. He took a quick look at our injuries and headed off. A subsequent email of complaint to the hotel was met with a response from the general manager's PA, offering us a free room upgrade and a 20% discount on food and beverages on our next stay. What a joke - we are clearly in a hurry to return there! And, by the way, I have an Accor Platinum card so I get those benefits anyway.
The hotel's management team does not seem to realise that it has a duty of care to ensure that the waterpark is maintained to a standard that prevents these types of injuries from occurring. If it cannot undertake such maintenance, the waterpark should be shut down. Incidents of this nature fall under tortious liability under UAE Federal Law No. 5.

We had 3 nights here and had a wonderful time.
Fujairah is a great place to relax as the pace of life is so slow compared with Dubai.
The Fairmont is a well maintained 5 star property that has excellent facilities to support Adult only parties as well as families.
They have a broad enough range of restaurants to make a 3 night stay perfect.
They have excellent water sports too at reasonable prices. We enjoyed the snorkeling at Dibba Rock.
The All Inclusive deal is good value at AED999 a room although be careful on the exclusions and read the rules.
Staff are excellent and COVID rules are well maintained.

Currently still at the property for a 2 night stay. Having stayed all over the world in many different 5 star hotels and resorts, this one seems to fall below average. We are just not receiving the treatment and luxury we expected. Lounging around the pool, there is no service, if we want something we have to go and ask for it. There’s no waiters to take drink orders apart from the bartender at the bar. Breakfast, we didn’t have our table cleared for the entire time we were there, there were no waiters around to ask for anything not to take hot drink orders. I used the coffee machine myself and the coffee came out cold. The room is wonderful, the bathroom is amazing. But when you come to a 5 star resort you expect a certain level of service, and I am very disappointed. The private beach is ruined a little by all the rocks surrounding it, is there really need for a helipad surrounding the beach? Canvas restaurant was just ok. Bearing in mind that the hotel is not very busy at all at the moment, there is still a huge lack of service. The all inclusive customers are satisfied by going to the bar and collecting their drinks, but not really what you expect at a 5 star. We’ve been sat at the pool for 4 hours now, and not once has anyone asked if we want a drink.

Extremely friendly, attentive and helpful staff but definitely overworked. Our dinner was a mixed experience of yummy food delivered after a 1 hour and 30 minutes frustrating wait time. The property is well-maintained and beautiful; however, it cannot be advertised as a beach resort because the beach is unsafe to swim due to fuel residues. The main pool tile color is a definite ‘no’ and requires an urgent upgrade. They could do better on cleanliness in general and social distancing during breakfast time.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Fairmont Fujairah 3 years ago and we truly enjoyed it. That is why when we decided to celebrate our anniversary in Fujairah again, booking at the same property was a no brainer. However, the level of service has decreased significantly over the years and we ended up leaving extremely disappointed.
To start off, we were asked to park the car ourselves, which is understandable given the Covid-19 situation. However, forcing us to park the car outside in the street in this 40°C heat and unprotected is outrageous for a 5-star hotel. When I requested to park inside the hotel underground parking, I was informed that there are no parkings available. After insisting, I was allowed to park inside the hotel parking and to my surprise, it was not full as the security claimed.
Upon checking in, the receptionist could not be bothered to read the notes/requests made during booking. No anniversary welcome nor late check out like 3 years ago. I understand that these are done at the discretion of the hotel, but the least would be to acknowledge these requests and apologize if they cannot be fulfilled. The absolute minimum we requested was at least a quiet room. Instead, we were given a room close to the busy elevator with kids running & shouting in the hallway and below our balcony that was just above the exit from the hotel to the swimming pool area.
The worst experience at this property was trying to order breakfast to our room at 10:30am. It took 20 minutes to even get through as I was constantly being transferred, hang upon, or promised to be called back. Once I finally got to place my order, I was informed that it will take 1 hour to prepare! By that time, we would already have to be in the reception checking out so I was forced to cancel the order.
All in all, the facilities are nice and they have expanded since the last time we visited; however, the quality of service still forms the majority of the total experience. It is understandable that given the current Covid-19 situation, managing the hotel operations might be a bit more challenging; however, they should not significantly affect the experience of the guests and how they are treated.

+1
I visited this resort for two nights and it was weekdays but to my surprise the occupancy was really high . Checking staff was very courteous, Lobby is very rich and very well done .The white decor blended with black and nice fusion of Arabic and contemporary design is delight to eye.
My room was very spacious, cleanliness is spic and span. The view from room was just mesmerizing.
They have two pools Adults and Family , as I was accompanied with my kid I wasn’t able to visit Adult pool , however family pool is huge and very well taken care off. Inspite of high occupancy we didn’t feel that the pool was crowded.
Breakfast is Canvas resturant was really good and has good options.
For kids club you will have to make advance booking due covid protocol and can sent your kids only for an hour .
Now comes the most important part the USP for this resort is their staff. I can very easily say they are short of staff as compared to the occupancy they had however we were never made to feel the effect of the same.
Resort is very well lead by manager like Abdel Rahman and I saw him leading by example not only he efficiently manages his staff I saw himself assisting his staff even by clearing the table during breakfast . I was very impressed with his commitment and rest of the staff too goes out of their way to assist you in any possible manner they can.
Big thanks to Nasir who not only provided first aid to my son who happen to bruised his leg while playing (no error on part of resort) . He went out of his way to go and get the buggy so that he can drop us from swimming pool to the main entrance .
Out an out we had wonderful stay in this scenic and well maintained resort accompanied by wonderful hospitality from exceptional staff .
Kudos to team Fairmount Fujeirah… keep up the good work .
Hands down I will highly recommend this resort for a great stay.

1. The dinner menu was pathetic. No choices of food for a buffet of 5 star hotel.
2. Housekeeping took ages to respond to our simple request of dental kit I had to move out of the room, found a guy who was cleaning on the floor who provided us the dental kit. none bothered to respond our request.
3. After we checked out on a Saturday Afternoon, we received a random whts app message from the hotel manager on a Monday morning that the bed linen was spoiled and they will charge us the amount. When I explained him it wasn't when we left the room and all was good when we did our check out formalities he agreed. I very well know when a guest is checking out, the housekeeping staff immediately goes in the room at that point to check if all is good. So after 2 days the hotel just can't hold us responsible for what didn't happen. Manager agreed that may be there was some issue and they trust the guest. Shockingly after 1 hr he calls again and says no we will be charged. What a joke! Staff has no value for the promises made.
Highly unprofessional and pathetic to be called as a brand. Will never ever book any of the fairmont properties.

Forgot to say 100 credit can be used for lunch in Lava or dinner in Copper Lobster. You will be able to have lunch for the 100 no problem but the 100 in Copper Lobster will get you a starter and not much more. We went there for our anniversary and payed roughly 700 dirham after the 100 each was taken off.
