We just finished our 1st week of a long term stay at Stella Apartments Hotel and its absolutely satisfactory ! The groundfloor apartment we stay in is quite big, its simple, but well equipped and it is very clean. The rooms are cleaned every day by the very nice cleaning lady ´Christy´ ( i cannot remember her real name ! LOL ), exept on Sundays. The swimmingpool area is very nice and clean too, so far we havent been to the beach yet, which is jusy across the road. Owners Petra & Diamantis are very nice, friendly & helpful people, very convenient is the fact that the also own a rent-a-car business. We really enjoy staying here ! Alex

The hotel doesn't look like much, and it really isn't much. You get what you need - simple but nice hotel rooms to sleep in, balcony (balconies if you live upstairs), wifi and air condition. Yes, maybe the rooms are very simple and the beds not the most comfortable, but it's livable and totally okay . The owners are so kind and helpful, which, in my opinion, made the hotel so much nicer. They have a children's pool, as well as a regular and they also have sun beads and umbrellas. The beach is just across the road and there's plenty of beach restaurants which offers sun beds on the beach in close vicinity. There's not much shopping to do in Votsalakia, but it's cozy and authentic. There's no shortage in restaurants though. The only negative thing I have to say is that they didn't have any regular opening hours in the reception. If you needed to talk to them you'd have to catch them walking by outside since they live on the same property as the hotel. Over all I really recommend this hotel! …

Had a great stay at the Stella Apartments. Just a couple of minutes from the sandy beach and a short walk to bars restaurants and mini markets. Although the apartments were simply furnished, they had everything you need. It has air con which is a real plus point. The pool was great and staff helpful and friendly. I had an upper floor apartment which had a twin bedroom, and an upper level bedroom reached by a wooden staircase also with twin beds.

Stella is a nice hotel with a loft 4 beds a kitchen and a balkony .A small pool and a children pool.Friendly and helpful staff.The hotel is close to the beach restaurants and mini market.A quite relaxing hotel that we really enjoy.

We stayed at apartments Stella for 5 days. The rooms were very clean, the staff was very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed swimming in the swimming pool. Also the sea was 40-50 meters from the apartments. Beautiful location, nice people, we had a nice time. We will visit it again sometime!

Stella Appartments is good place when you don't expect much, as there is no service available (only a small swimming pool). It's situated by the main street but at the biginning of the village Votsalakia, so it's quiet. Many tavernas and shops are nearby but you have to walk on the road, no pavement is there. A sandy beach is just across the street, it's not bad but Samos offers many prettier beaches:-) We used our appartment only at night, we spent all days travelling around the island by a rented car, so we were satisfied (price/service). We didn't miss the kitchen equipment much (no knife, few dishes, no dishcloth - we still asked the owner to bring us a knife, he wrote it down but nothing happened. The Greek speciality - toilet paper into a rubbish bin is ok, but unfortunatelly it wasn't thrown away daily so it was a problem... Our apartment was spacious, but quite dark and we had "animal friends" - many ants and several spiders (one was huge) and even we told the owner he did't solve the ant issue (and some of our food was attacked:-) )…
