This is a luxury hotel, a boutique resort, that brings the island on top destinations in Greece. Very decent and stylish design in perfect co-ordination with Paros' environment, emphasising on minimalist style. We used the suite with private pool which was amazing. Public areas, including pools and restaurants with services provided will keep you happy in the hotel for a week! Hytra gourmet restaurant is an outstanding place to be every evening! Have already booked to go again, while a couple we know have booked 6 long weekends for this summer!

Amazing! This best describes our stay in Summer Senses! Excellent location, excellent service, excellent facilities! A big thank you to George for the best cocktails ever at YDOR bar. Don’t miss them!!! The ANASSA spa is one of the best I ever had. I only wish I stayed longer to try all the available treatments! ..and finally our dinners at GALAZIA HYTRA were superb!! A big thank you to Summer Senses and its amazing staff for making our stay unforgettable! We will certainly come back. If you are looking for a five star experience, this is the place to be!

We stayed for a week and it was great! The staff was very helpful and kind! Our room was spacious and modern! We had a great dinner at the restaurant of the hotel named Galazia Hytra, totally recommended, you will enjoy it! And also have some drinks at the Ydor bar, George is an expert! Last but not least, try a massage at the spa! In my opinion, Summer Senses is the best option if you are looking to stay in Paros and have a 5-Stars experience!

We have just returned from staying at Summer Senses for 6 nights in a Senses Suite with Private Pool Garden View. HOTEL The hotel itself is as you would expect from a brand-new establishment: immaculately clean/presented and has a very ‘new’ smell. The reception, dining and pool areas are ultra-modern and stylish, whilst still having Cycladic charm and character. The pools are huge with a stunning view of the sea. The pool area never felt crowded or noisy and sunbeds were always available. The hotel itself is peaceful which is perfect if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. STAFF All the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a feeling amongst some guests that the restaurant in the morning was understaffed and slow service. We did encounter this only on one occasion when it was extremely busy. This resulted in me not receiving coffee after I finished my breakfast. That said, the majority of the time the service was good. I would suggest that the staff relax more and enjoy providing the service. I felt sometimes they were on edge because they were being watched my managers etc. I believe this will come with time and were only minor ‘teething problems’ which did not ruin our overall experience. Furthermore, I informed the hotel prior to our stay that we would be celebrating a special birthday whist staying at the hotel. It would have been nice for the hotel to have left a small token in the room. This is the personalised service I have previously received from 5-star hotels which was notably absent from Summer Senses. FOOD Breakfast was good, particularly the homemade jam, fresh bread and fresh orange juice we enjoyed each morning. The only suggestion would be to vary the selection of cakes and patisseries because there were the exact same offerings every day. We ordered several times from the room service menu. The food was delicious and had generous portion sizes. However, I would say some drinks were overpriced. For example, I ordered a chocolate milkshake which cost 7/8 euro. It was served in a small glass and was watery. This is not the quality one would expect for the price or from a 5-star hotel. ROOM Our room (Senses Suite with Garden View and Private Pool) was clean and stylish. The towels, slippers and robes were extremely soft, and the bed linen was luxurious and good quality. There was a Marshall Music Player, Nespresso machine and a selection of luxury toiletries which were a fantastic addition! Our terrace was spacious with 2 sunbeds, a table and chairs and a deckchair. The private pool was large and beautiful. There were a few minor drawbacks: Although the king-size bed was very comfy, the single bed felt like a sofa bed to sleep on which is not what you would expect in a 5-star hotel. All mattresses should be the same quality regardless of the size of the bed. The privacy of the private pool was slightly lacking in the sense that the walls of the terrace are slightly open and visible to the next room. Furthermore, the barrier between the pools again, are slightly open and does not seal the pool off completely from the next room. That said, I believe we were fortunate in that our private pool had the most privacy compared to some other rooms. LOCATION The hotel is a short walk to Punda Beach which is nice, but loud and caters to a greater extent for ‘Party’ travellers. The hotel is not near many shops/restaurants etc. The nearest shop/bakery we found was about a 20-minute walk away and the nearby town of Piso Livadi is about a 30-35 minute walk. A suggestion would be for the hotel to provide a complementary shuttle service to Piso Livadi which is only a 5-8-minute drive away. This would enhance their services and elevate the hotel to exceptional standards offered by 5-star establishments. OVERALL EXPERIENCE Overall, we had an enjoyable and relaxing stay at Summer Senses and would return in the future. My comments are not criticisms of the hotel itself, only suggestions about how the hotel could improve. The hotel has all the ingredients to be 5 stars but requires some minor refinements which would elevate their standards/services to a higher level expected from a 5-star hotel.
