Excellent location for visiting the most famous beaches and also because you can see/hear the sea: priceless! Upon returning from excursions, the beautiful and clean swimming pool is refreshing. Spacious rooms/studios equipped to prepare breakfast independently to be enjoyed on the balcony overlooking the sea. Room cleaning and tidying up with daily towel change; the seafront a few steps away, with small restaurants terraced overlooking the sea, I would say all of them are truly recommended, both fish, meat and breakfast. Last but last but not least the helpful and kind managers who advise you and direct you upon request.

I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend. Excellent location also for reaching the most beautiful beaches in Crete. The rooms are modern and half overlook the sea. The hotel is located near one of the main streets of Kissamos with many restaurants. Very kind and present staff. Perfect swimming pool with sunbeds available included in the price of the stay.

We chose Crystal Bay hotel for one night after returning to kissamos Port from Kithyra. Even though we arrived late the key with a welcome note was on the reception desk. Clean room. It had anything we needed for the night. The staff is very friendly and when I went to pay they did not charge the juice I had ordered. It has a nice pool. I highly recommend this hotel.

I choose this hotel due to location in Kissamos. This hotel is 100m from beach, 300m from the centre of town. The hotel is new. I paid studio with sea view (200EUR-5nights-2persons) but finally my boyfriend want to stay down near the pool. This was much more private than upstairs. But owner of this hotel offer you both variants if rooms are available. We also choose this hotel due to Balos beach, Elafonissi and Fallasarna beach which are really nicer in Crete island. I recommend it to visit all of them. We rent a car for 30EUR per day in Kissamos. Elafonissi beach is approx 50km from the hotel and Balos beach approx 10km. You cannot drive to Balos beach with normal car, you must rent a jeep due to road to this beach. We preferred to book boat trip to Gramvousa/Balos lagoon - 20EUR/person (tourist agency in the centre of Kissamos) - standart price from port is 25EUR/person. I recommend stay in this hotel/Kissamos if you really want to visit the most beaches in Crete.

Hotel is modern nad clean. Most of the stuff is friendly. However, breakfasts start at 9AM and there are only eggs, yoghurt, cheese and ham (approx. 20% meat). And it wouldnt be a problem if only they managed to deliver it on time... but they don't. Often you would have to wait until 11AM to get egg... or till next breakfast. Top of that you have to inhale ciggaret smoke every meal... (lady serving food is the only one smoking!!!!)

Brand new hotel, very nicely decorated, very clean with big pool and nice view next to the sea. The receptionist Katerina was very helpful and friendly. The biggest disadvantage was the breakfast which was very basic and not of so good quality as you expect in Crete. Also, it was served next to the pool where it was very hot, therefore you could not enjoy it. The price we were paying was excellent but even if it was higher with good breakfast we would not have a problem paying it. Lots of parking space outside the hotel. Also it was very quiet. I'd stay there again.

We travelled by bus from chania to kissamos and at the bus stop, a really nice person helped us to call the hotel where the owner himself picked us up! The hotel itself is really clean and new and there is a balcony with a nice sea view! There was also a small kitchenette area to prepare food. We were able to rent some bikes for a few euros to cycle around kissamos, and it was a short taxi ride from the port for the balos lagoon tour! This was by far one of the best stays in crete!

The hotel is a modern construction with glass balconies offering zero privacy. Do not try to get out to the balcony naked or your neighbour might count all your moles.
It is relatively new but the rooms are'' cleaned'' by an elderly couple .The old man shouts straight from the balcony to the horrific receptionist, commenting about the mess the clients left so all the other guests can hear. He only cleans windows on the ground floor. If you have a room upstairs you will not see the view through the dirty glass. The bathroom and especially the toilets will not be cleaned for weeks on end.
The towels are treated as real treasure by the unpleasant receptionist with an oily black and blonde head so it is forbidden to make them dirty with anything else but water or else you will be charged for negligence. Do not expect any polite behaviour on her side . She is always busy backbiting guests. The bed linen and towels are washed in an ordinary household washing machine with a poor rinsing system so the washing powder remains might be a cause of serious allergy. The breakfast is a joke. You will be lucky if you find a hard boiled egg. They are carefully counted .While you are eating you feel the odour of washing liquid and listen to the banging of dishes being washed nervously by the receptionist behind your back. Beware of the ground floor rooms or you might find yourself standing in your own faeces as the sewage system gets blocked. The manager is the maintenance service man , pool cleaner and receptionist at times which may not be bad cause he is very efficient. Location is by a dirty ugly beach with huge waves but close to the wonders of Crete like Balos , Elafonissi or Falasarna which is a plus.

"All rooms have the same view, but the ground floor rooms are right next to the pool having immediate access there, but probably a little bit more noise than the rest. hint: if the wifi isnt working when you try to use it for the first time, just tell the reception and they will reboot the system.it will work fine afterwards"
