An extraordinary place where we felt very well. From the first moment, the owners answered our questions immediately with kindness. They welcomed us with gifts, olive oil and wine, then they explained to us on the map the whole area, what is worth visiting and all the details necessary for a successful vacation. The villa is clean, the apartments are large and spacious, equipped with everything you need. The rooms were very clean and the sheets and towels were changed about every 2 days, plus impeccable cleanliness, a fact that we liked very much. Both the projectionists and the cleaning lady are of very good quality. The personal beach with reed umbrellas and sunbeds provided by the host. The swimming pool is small but clean and a great joy for the children who played every evening. Showers near the beach and near the pool, everything well thought out. The village is a quiet one where you can find only a few guesthouses and the wild beach, according to those who want to find peace, a small market and a terrace where you can eat but that's all. For any other activity the town of Kissamos is 15 minutes away by car and about 40 mimutes to Chania but the time is estimated. Specifically, without a car you have no way to move in the area.

Best apartment hotel i ve ever been to. The skoulaki family are the kindest, most generous and sweetest hosts. The studios are nice and very well equipped. The pool and its equipement, the barbecue and the beach right in front with umbrellas and sunbeds made it the perfect place for nice chill summer holidays. It is also very central and makes it easier to reach crete s main attractions ( samaria gorge, balos, elafonissi, paleochora... ). The area seemed to me one of the most authentic of crete. I will certainly come back for my next trip to crete which i hope will be very soon.

We were greeted by the veronica and helpful family who owns (and built) these lovely apartments -- mother, father and son. The apartments are superbly designed, very clean, pretty and with a wonderful airy feel. There are several nice touches, such as a clothes drying rack on a small balcony and welcome gifts. We didn't avail ourselves of the pool, but it looked very inviting. The beach is just across the street from the apartments, and ours had a view of the water. Thalassa's location is close to the major east-west artery, about 15 minutes from Hania or Falasarna.

I have just visited Crete for the first time, and I stayed in Thalassa apartments, I absolutely recommend this place! Will have to go back, beautiful place to stay in front of the beach with swimming pool and private beach, and good location to go around by car near all the most beautiful and touristic places! Own by a lovely family, welcoming and always happy to help!

If you are looking for quiet relax -this place suits you perfectly!
Vangelis and Stella are very kind and really nice people!
We were staying for 15 days - at 3-rd floor apartments with beautiful sea view,
Place is keeping very accurately, Vangelis is doing everything for guests' comfort, he explains us all local places like bakery, tavernas etc, give a lot of advice how to get to some places of interests, which road to prefer etc.
Beds are really very comfortable,
As a welcome Vangelis gives his guests olive oil, raki and very nice cookies prepared by Stella)))
Very nice terrace, all doors and windows are protected from insects. Cleaning is twice weakly.
The village itself is a very quiet place, it has only 3 tavernas, camping, and several houses.
Beach are desert, really! The bay itself is surrounded by mountains, the view is wonderful, the waves are almost not existed, water is clear, in the morning is very quiet, beach is small stones, but just in 1 meter from the water edge there is purely sand!!!
It is not deep very long - very comfortable to swim, nothing on the sand, you can stay everywhere.
And the main benefit - we were mostly alone at the see!)))
(Sun beds and umbrellas are included)
Pool is really the cleanest one we see, Vangelis use nice robot to clean it twice daily.
House is keeping in perfect condition!
We had night flight and Vangelis and Stella were so kind that give us late check-out free of charge!

This accomodation is really good. Rooms are complete with all facilities.
Al the structure is new and nice.
Swimmingpool, umbrellas, private beach, barbecue, and meny other services are free offered for the guests. The owners (Stella and Evangelis) are kind and ready to help for any need you may have.
Highly recommended!

We stayed for one week. We wish it had been 2. We came from another part of the island from a villa we rented which was only available for 1 week. Since we wanted to stay 2 we booked a 2nd week here. We were very late booking and were happy we found something. But now we wish we had stayed here the whole 2 weeks. The beach is very quiet. Sometimes we were the only ones there. Beautiful view. You have to walk over some stones in the water for about 2 meters then sand. Gorgeous!
The apartment was a 2 room with a kitchenette with everything you need. We were there with our two 18 year old daughters. I was afraid it would be tight and we would get on each others nerves. We let them have the bedroom and my husband and I slept on the pull out beds. This was so that we could get up early, make coffee and enjoy reading on the balcony facing the water and the garden. That was a perfect arrangement for us. But we were almost always outside.
One evening we hung out in the room because we were so lazy and watched TV.
There was a great Tavern a few houses down the road at a camping ground. Very friendly, very good food. They also had a small grocery store to by things if we needed. (more expensive than a normal supermarket) but we were happy to have it. There were also very good restaurants in the village.
We had a car which we enjoyed because we were so near to Phalasarna, Elafonisi and Balos beach. But i can imagine going back with my husband for a week and staying put.
Even so, I would still recommend a car. There is really nothing except the camping gound taverna.
The hosts, Stella, Vangelis and their son, were so accommadating and charming. Upon arrival we received a basket of home made cookies as well as home made olive oil and raki.
It is a very simple set up. But I highly recommend it.
Oh I almost forgot! A lovely pool which we hung out around on a very windy day. Protected from the wind and very clean. Over all just great.

We came here for 2 weeks as part of a yoga group. The apartment is perfect. Everything you need is catered for. Stella includes so lovely touches like olive oil you can take home with you and the local Greek tipple raki.
We loved it. The apartment is minutes from the sea. There is an eco pool too. It really is a super pale to stay. I can't recommend it more highly.

Thalassa apartments have the best nature pool for early morning swimming!

We didn't know it was going to be so tough to have a double bed to sleep on in Crete. It was the only truly huge, comfortable king-size bed we found during our one week stay. Everything in Thalassa was exceptional, especially the 22 inch flat screen TV, which was especially important to us as we wanted to watch the World Cup. All the windows had shutters and mosquito nets, which were useful. We slept really well in Thalassa.
Thalassa is located right at the beach of Kissamos, and the whole area has such a low-key, tranquil island feel to it. Very little tourists and a whole lot of atmosphere.
The owners of Thalassa were very helpful and kind too, and they made our stay a great one.
