Hotel's Favorite
Great location… right in the beach at the end of the bay a ten minute (15 when it’s hot!) walk into town.
Wonderful hotel, clean, quiet, friendly, with big rooms and great beds - the side sea view room also has a Mountain View… lovely breakfast, delightful pool and beach area with a great beach bar.
Fantastic staff, on reception, at the beach bar, servicing our rooms, so grateful to J for keeping our room nice and clean. All led and looked after by the lovely owners; A & D.
We were really pleased we choose Aphrodite Beach hotel - 10th visit to Greece, 3rd time in Crete - this is our new favourite.
We’ll be back next year.

Room Tip: Have the hotel organise your airport taxis, so simple, nice cars and great drivers.

This is a hotel I would always recommend - would love to come back to as often as I could! The location is directly at the sandy beach with enough sun beds and umbrellas for everone! Cold drinks are brought to your sunbed, or if you like, snacks... wonderful! The hotel is family owned - you can feel their love to make your stay something special, for example with the breakfast buffet, which offers real greek specialities from local shops as well as great coffee and fresh orange juice. Rooms are spacious and perfectly clean, very friendly staff. The beach bar is open til midnight, so we met there after dinner with other guests guests, having greek wine and nice talks. What else could I say? They were always helpful with any question we had, if it was about trips or restaurants... we will definitely come back, thank you so much for a wonderful holiday

This is a lovely family run hotel with wonderful staff and nothing is too much trouble. Prior to arrival they organised a taxi to collect us from the airport as we were arriving at night and then later in the week, helped us arrange a hire car at a great deal. Breakfast is lovely and refreshed throughout the sitting. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Lovely bar and loungers on the beach.
Great stay and would highly recommend.

Aphrodite is a lovely hotel located just steps away from the beautiful beach. My garden room was large and beautifully styled, really modern and clean, and serviced thoroughly every day. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was secluded (more with a view of one tree than the whole garden but perfect for me!). As my room was located at the edge of the hotel it was a tiny bit noisy from the road, but only if you had windows open.
The staff were helpful and friendly, doing everything they could to make your stay a positive one. The pool was small but sufficient, and the beach had plentiful beds and parasols so there was always space. The bar was lovely, under the shade of big trees with crickets making the lovely sound synonymous with Kissamos! Service on the beach sunbeds was also excellent, with snacks and all kinds of drinks served. The only drawback of this was the use of plastic for these, it would be nice to see a more sustainable option. Other than that, it was perfect and I would love to come back!

We have just had an amazing 12 days staying at Aphrodite Beach Hotel.
The Family that run it and all their staff are really friendly and welcoming.
The setting is fantastic, right on the beach in a sheltered bay and, despite the extra measures required for covid safety, all the stay was easy and relaxing. Just what we needed.
The breakfast buffet was, necessarily, served to us rather than being self service but this did not distract from the quality of it.
I am missing my daily bowl of the best yoghurt and honey all ready.
We fully intend another visit in the next couple of years.

We stayed for 7 days and could of happily stayed longer. Our large double room had a great view of the sea and plently of space to do our yoga. The breakfast buffet was really good, enough variety and variations each day. The staff (family and employees) were all very friendly and happy to chat with us or give recommendations. The room was cleaned perfectly each day. We did have a lot of wind during our stay, so we could not lie on the beach as much as we would of liked, but it did mean we had time to explore the area (hidden beaches, roman ruins, canyons, watching vultures .....) - what more could you want! In these difficult times, we really think the family have done their utmost best to ensure for a safe and happy holiday for their guests.

A special thanks goes to Mrs. Aphrodite who has always best met our requests making the stay pleasant and comfortable. The staff is attentive and kind. The property is very clean. Our side sea view room, was very spacious with sockets adjacent to the bedside tables and air conditioning, a large and comfortable bathroom equipped with makeup mirror and a very spacious shower compartment with the possibility of using the rain shower head. In the balcony there was an opening wall drying rack and a water pipe. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and of excellent quality and many courses varied daily. It is in a quiet location a little peripheral to the center of Kissamos, convenient to reach multiple beaches of Crete.

Right on the beautiful beach stands this airy and refined hotel, the perfect place for a stay of absolute rest. The structure takes place in a pleasant and well-kept garden, the large rooms have been recently renovated with functional and modern taste. The hotel has a comfortable equipped beach available to guests. Delicious breakfast, both sweet and savory, to be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the sea. The staff is friendly and professional, very attentive to the well-being of the customer. The hotel is located in the best spot to visit the most beautiful beaches of the west coast of Crete (I remember the famous Elafonissi, but also the beautiful and nearby Falassarna). Free parking in front of the property. Hotel absolutely recommended!

This evaluation involves the beach bar and sea facilities, both during the day and night. The personnel is polite.and willing to serve. The place offers coffee and various smoothies of good quality, with reasonable prices. There are a few food choices available during the day, mainly sandwiches, club sandwich and pizza (frozen, precooked). On the other hand, the cocktails available are exceptional! Overall, it is a good choice for spending the day next to the sea with your family..

We had an absolute horrible experience at this hotel. We checked in a little later around 1630 and our room was >28 Celsius at time of checkin. We then went to relax at the beach and was charged 20 euro for 2 raggedy towels for the beach. At the beach we were told you can’t sit at the hotels loungers unless you pay and order from the restaurant/bar. This place will squeeze every penny out of you. Only 4 loungers at the pool which fill up quickly.
Then, we returned from dinner to try and turn AC on, it was not working. We asked the man at the front desk- he tried for 1 hour, did not speak English, couldn’t get it to work. It was 28 degrees in room. We asked for a new room or other accommodations but they refused and said they were sold out.
After not sleeping all night, we checked out in the morning and the owner refused to give a refund saying we slept there and that’s what we pay for. Finally he opened his huge wallet full of cash and offered 40 euros and said take it or leave it and get out. (We paid 145 euro for 1 night stay)
Do not book this hotel. The service is horrible and there are much better options.

The hotel is wheelchair friendly, they're steps to the restaurant but also has a ramp for wheelchair users.
I'm not sure about rooms with walk in showers, I would presume so with so many rooms!
Dear Toni thank you for your kind interest. Yes air condition is included in the price of the room!
Good afternoon from Kissamos. Thank you for your kind request; prices will be ready end of season 2017, thank you.
Good afternoon. Kettles are not provided but you can boil water the same, thank you.
Dear Guests, this is a small town offering little of night life; the Hotel provides a beach bar and on the promenade you can find more;the whole area is very famous for our excellent food.
