This hotel may not look like the usual 'luxury' hotel but it is so much more. The staff-friendly,professional. The rooms - full of character and cosy. The outside garden area is lovely to sit outside in. There's a common lounge area with pool table, board games and a TV, I think there's also a small swimming pool here. Had a... More

This quaint little place is very cozy and welcoming, especially on cold days after a long day of traveling and/or sightseeing. The rooms are very nice, and plenty of blankets are provided. There is no centralized heating, so one has to use the fireplace and know how to throw wood longs into the chamber. I personally had to haul wood... More

Welcomed with big smiles in a gorgeous entry with a hugh fire place. Food was delicious and so was the Red wine (grown in their own winery). We had a wine tour with one other couple. We set out on foot around the little town starting at a girls boarding school, so cute the girls are and the youngest boarders... More

My husband and I visited in mid-March in route to las barrancas del cobre, as part of a group of 38 on a Mex-Eco tour. This is a charming historic property with its own vineyard. The vino tinto Mision that it produces is really quite good and affordable. Our room was rustic but attractive with all the necessary amenities (including... More

This would be a great place to explore a few days. Beautiful architecture, a fireplace in your room complete with someone to light it for you, game room separate, great food and fun bar area. Service was wonderful, there is a winery onsite.

next time I will stay longer, great retreat, charming set up, good food and service. I drove there from Copper canyon, it was hard to find , even with a map and asking directions. Most guests were part of a guided tour which might be a better bet than going it alone.

Altough this hotel is in the middle of nowere, the place is very cozy, the property has its own vineyard, the owner has four other hotels in the chihuahua area , they are all fantastic properties. Ther is not really much to do , "town" is four blocks total but each room has its own chimney, lots of wood in... More

Was interesting & as we jolted past burros & fields we wondered where we would end up. We need not have worried, Hotel Mision was bright & welcoming. The room was comfortable & clean although the lamps could have done with a dusting, but hey! I don't always dust the top of my lamps either. The food in the communal... More

Rustic Mexican hotel in tiny town of Cerocahui. Main areas such as as check in and restaurant are lovely, however when we reached our room, the toilet had not been cleaned and there was evidence that someone had recently pooed! We asked for a change of rooms and were immediately given the one next door. Superficially it looked ok, small... More
