Room very clean if a little dated. No tea or coffee facilities or fridge. Also only Spanish TV. The hot springs and thermal pool are amazing & staff very welcoming. Evening meal was ok considering this is 3 star at the end of the day. Beautiful journey up & would return for the experience. Spa is slightly strange, hence the...

This hotel, located around a thermal water source outside the city is difficult to reach from the city center. The thermal pool is pleasant and open to every guest but for the rest the place is very old and quaint. The hotel is advertised using the historical Arab baths in the premises but when we asked at the reception to...

Stayed at this hotel for a weekend break with family. We went for the natural spa waters. We were not disappointed! We made full use of the swimming pool, which i can only describe as walking in to a hot bath. Twice a day there are very easy pool aerobics - we joined in with what was mostly Spanish "older"...

Absolutely lovely little Oasis in Alhama de Granada. Southern Spain...almost like stepping back in time. Tranquil with a 'far away from it all' feel. The spa treatments are typically 'down to earth' Moorish and particularly enjoyed the 'hose pipe' muscle massage as part of 'the circuit' an absolute must have. Great pampering experience without the hype of so many 'resort...

We went to visit the town of Alhama de Granada after friends recommended it. The town itself is lovely but the real find was this hotel housing the old "Roman" baths and the hot water springs. We parked outside the hotel car park for free, wandered over a little bridge crossing a hot stream where people were already bathing in...

I can understand the range of reviews for this place. Normally I write my own review but it is such a different place that you could love it or leave it. All the hallmarks of a traditional hotel mixed with the variety of spa treatments. The one night price (130) included two peoples spa circuit, hydro, jacuzzi and steam/stone igloo...

The hotel is set on the site of the original moorish spa built in 799. Be prepared if your under 50 to feel young, as majority of guests are aged & there for their health. However, everyone is very friendly & helpful. The hotel is a bit 80's & bits even older. Wifi is bad, so dont expect mod cons....

We visisted the rio and the hyper-thermal pools and then went to the hotel, as non residents for a coffee. The pools were an amazing find and worth a detour for an hour, but not a whole day out. Set outside the main town of Alhama de Granada, take a left turn at the old rio bridge as you leave...

Used the facilities here, not the accommodation, so please bear this in mind. You pay 36 euro for a standard package which includes a 4 course lunch (think institution) plus access to the out door hot pool and then indoor hot and cold pools. It's very enjoyable but it is so old fashioned that you feel like you have stepped...

We stayed here for a couple of hours, visitng the pool and the spa - and had a terrible lunch. I don´t know where the chef was, but hopefully not at the hotel. We had the worst lunch we have eaten in Spain. The other guest at the lunch were all +75 years old, staying at the hotel. The spa...
