Such a cute little hotel where we stayed as we attended a Youth congress at Feria Valencia a 25 min walk away. They made every effort to make us feel at home and comfortable there. It was cleaned every day without fail and it was always a lovely atmosphere
By far, the best hostel i've been in Spain. Very comfortable, in a very good position, easy to find. The rooms are cheap, and they're well furnished (one expetion: the air conditioner didn't work, but it was a casuality ). The owners are very kind, one is an old man who talks in spanish, very kind and very hospitable, the other is a woman who talks in a quite good english (not so easy to find in Spain, i assure). Bathrooms are perfect. I recommend the place.
Had a very pleasant stay. Only a short train ride out of central valencia. The staff are very friendly and very willing to help. For those on a budget i would recomend here. Paterna itself is a lovely town with very friendly locals
Not located in central Valencia, but the metro is convenient, takes about 20 minutes or so to reach the centre. Very quiet suburb, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room is very small, but it has everything you need. Overall, very happy with the stay, it was just what we needed!
My sister and I stayed in one of their twin rooms (no bathroom). We were greeted by 'the Father' who although did not speak much English was very helpful and explained the workings of the hostel, i.e. regarding the keys to the front door, how to lock it properly, and showed us to our room and how to work the air con and TV. The room was very clean, and all the bed linen was spotless. For the price we paid (think it was 50 or 60 euros for 2 of us for 2 nights) we weren't holding out much hope, but we were definitely pleasantly surprised and very relieved. We thought sharing a bathroom with other guests would get annoying, but it was completely fine. There was never a queue, or having to wait for someone to come out, so we were lucky with that. The daughter arrived a bit later in the day, and came and welcomed us to Spain and the hostel, and told us where we could find the supermarket (Mercdonna... about a 5-7 mins walk from the hostel), how to get to the beach and things going on in the area (we were there when they were having a parade on the 15th Aug, which was an awesome experience). The Metro station is about a 10 mins walk, and to get to the city centre and the train station (Valencia Nord which is just opposite metro station Xativa, just climb the stairs [on the right side!] and it's there) is about a 25 mins journey, and easily accessible from the airport as well (can't remember how long it took though). We really enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely stay here again next time we are in Valenicia, the price, the hostel and friendliness of the staff outweigh the slight out of the way location in our opinions.…
