Hostel with options on dorms / family rooms - some en-suites. This place is literally in the middle of the Burren - without transport probably not a great option. There is only the hostel and the pub (which serves food) - if you want nightlife you should look to stay elsewhere. Owner very helpful and obliging. The kitchen in the main building is spacious and well equipped - the dining area can feel a bit small if busy. When I was there it was predominantly families and walkers.

Clean & comfortable hostel. Need transport to get there but ideal for families or groups on a budget. Beautiful views from the location. Handy for Ballyvaughan for the start of Burren cycling event, which we and other cyclists were there for.

my friends and i stayed here overnight on the way to Cliffs of Moher. it was a last minute booking and it was mostly booked everywhere nearby as it is bank holiday weekend. the owner Pat was very helpful with our request (2 sets of family and we wanted our rooms to be near each other). if you are looking for modern well equipped place this is not the place for you. this hostel is just right for us, its clean and have a well equipped kitchen. it comes with small breakfast which consists of toast (including homemade brown bread) and cereals with tea or coffee. we brought our own food to cook. i just want to point out that this place is located at the very far end of the road (it took ages for us to get there) where you need your own transport but the view as you drive is beautiful. the main house itself is beautiful (theres a second accomodation beside it). great photo opportunity for selfie lovers.
