Traveled to Pundaquit for a swim event. I initially planned to stay one night but extended to two. Location: Perfect for those looking for island hopping to nearby Capones/Camara Islands. The beach in front of the resort is also fine for swimming so you can already relax and unwind just staying on the resort. Staff: Supernice. Nay Nora and the rest of the staff/ her family are very welcoming. For those who need to wake up like me as early as 5AM, this is your resort as Nay Nora wakes up before that. Food: They have big servings at the right price. I ordered tinolang manok saying it's good for 2-3 but I think it was for 4 persons. I liked that it was tasty and spicy. You can have your leftovers kept in the fridge and eat them in your next meal. I also tried the pancake breakfast price seems good for 1 but the actual sizes are good for two. Cost: Economy rates. I reserved a room for two as they don't have a room for one but when they saw that I was travelling solo, they reduced the rate. Hence, I was very thankful and I was able to extend one more night🙂. Rooms: Basic decent and clean rooms. Bring your own toiletries and towel. Not a big thing but it would be more convenient for visitors if they also provide a towel.

Anawangin and Capones Isalnd These two islands in Zambales are great places to start your summer getaway. Island hopping and relaxing under the heat of the sun while you are seeing the beauty of Zambles. Surely, you will enjoy your vacay. If you prefer white sand, Capones island would be perfect for you and in addition there are also rock formation. There is also a spot there where in you can climb at the top of a cliff and have your instagrammable shot with the breathtaking view of the island. Well, if we are talking about adventure, Anawangin Cove will be perfect. It isn't white sand but you can definitely enjoy swimming in the beach since water is not too deep. There are also water activities you can experience such as Banana Boat, Jetski and many more. And if you really want real adventure, trekking is allowed in there where in at the top you will see almost the whole Zambales. You can check-in in the various hotel resorts or transient houses in Pundaquit and just rent a boat to experience island hopping or you can also stay at Anawangin Cove and build your own tent.
