We arrived in Batopilas with no reservation and were referred to this hotel by someone we met in Creel. We met Martin, the owner, who went above and beyond the call of duty to help us get parked (streets are very narrow and no obvious place to park). He also let us know about a special tour of a local...

Great place to stay with lovely central courtyard which gave the whole place a nice feel to it. Rooms basic but clean with comfortable beds. Centrally located. Quiet except for a neighboring parrot! Very efficient laundry service

The casa Real de Minas is a basic hotel, dated but very clean. It is in a great location 1/2 block from the town square in Batopilas. The staff is lovely and very accommodating. Thos hotel has charm and we enjoyed staying here.

We stayed here for 2 nights over Christmas. The room was lovely, very traditional and Martin, the owner, made us very welcome. The best thing was the small courtyard the rooms were set around with rocking chairs around the edge and there was a Christmas tree in the corner right outside our room. We put our presents under the tree...

It is possible that the Casa Real de Minas is the only Inn that is open on a regular basis in Batopilas. There was a deluxe property down the road in town, but it appeared that that property only opened when they have paying guests. We were at the Casa for 2 nights and ate at the two restaurants in...

This place is spotless, interesting and nicely located in the colonial center of town. It only sports a few rooms, probably less than 6. The rooms are roomy and have modern A/C. It's a bit like a museum, displaying interesting objects on walls and tables under the patio's arches and in a special "curiosity room", furbished with beautiful, black and...

This "hotel" or inn is the historic home of the manager of the old silver mine in town. Don't expect fancy, expect a charming room, with a beautiful courtyard and atmosphere you will never forget. Once the new road is completed this town will probably change forever. Go now while it still slumbers.

While on a motorcycle trip in the copper canyon I stayed at this hotel. Martin is a fantastic host and is more than willing to accommodate you, we had some mechanical problems and he was quick to offer us the use of his garage to repair the bike's. The rooms are quite large and open onto a beautiful courtyard. There...

I stayed at the Hotel Minas for two nights and it was the high point of my two weeks in Mexico. The rooms are large and clean and the shower was hot. It was everything I had hoped I would find on this trip. If it wasn't for the new pickups I could imagine it was 100 years ago. The...

Martin will greet you and make you feel very welcome. The hotel is 1 block from the plaza and 2 minutes from Carolina's restaurant. The rooms are very large - including the large bathroom - very clean and comfortable. All rooms open onto the charming coutyard where you can relax and meet other travelers ( and sometimes hear the local...
