My GF and I stayed here for two nights as part of a 3 week trip round northern Mexico and the Copper Canyon. First impressions were very poor as the chap on reception was very grumpy and it took us a while to get him to acknowledge our booking. This was speaking in reasonable Spanish and not at a busy...

I had booked a reservation at this hotel for 8 people for two nights. When we arrived, they did not honor our reservation. They said that they were full. We were forced to find accommodations in another hotel.

Everyone was so nice. We had a deluxe cabin, fire place, shower... all for $15 per night. We sent clothes and shoes to Magarita's place when we got back to Texas. There were people from Belgium, Sweden, Germany, ( they were not nice),

We stayed at Margarita's Plaza Mexicana this May during our trip with El Chepe. the hotel was very charming and cozy. It gives you the feeling of being part of a big family. We especially loved the courtyard. The rooms very spacious and very clean. We had no problem with the warm water or heater, we didn't use it during...

Our group of 9 stayed here 2 nights while taking tours to the Adventure Park at Copper Canyon and a tour of Tarahumara villages and farms. Our room was spacious and spotless, with the rooms surrounding an enclosed courtyard. Our bed was uncomfortably hard but the room was otherwise acceptable. Walking around the town was very safe, and I highly...

We enjoyed 3 nights at this hotel. I booked in December so the rate was higher than if we had just shown up like some friends did. Nonetheless the room was cute. The beds were excellent. There was a heater but we like it cold at night. The meals were fine for me but my husband is diabetic and breakfast...

We had booked at the Casa Margarita, and were met at the train station by a gentleman who explained we would be going to their sister hotel, a few blocks away. While I was concerned that we might be getting an inferior room in fact it was just the opposite. We walked into an open courtyard, and were led to...

The hotel is small, beautifully done and very traditional. The rooms are spacious, the beds very comfortable, the water is hot, and the staff are totally helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a very Mexican experience. The food in the restaurant is excellent. We loved our stay here!

Cesar speaks excellent English and arranged a trip for 7 of us with three nights in Creel, 2 nights at their hotel in Batopilas, transportation and day yours. It was very reasonable and a...

We stayed 2 nights in March. We were picked up at the train station and meals were included with the room. The meals and room were fine but nothing special. Good for the price and the tours out of the hotel were pretty good as well. Again good for the price which was quite affordable.
