We stopped overnight on a walking tour with our dog and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Fantastic location, great views from the room and a sense of old fashioned comfort. Would recommend.

I saw some people with dogs. They are not allowed to the restaurant. But the place is nice and tidy and dogs and their owners very well behaved. Didn’t see any cats.

I would advise to rent a car . There are busses but they go every hour or so, that is why having a car there is very useful and will save you a lot of time .
