The national park is very well maintained and the walking trails are beautifully preserved. Totally close to the nature and fresh air. If you love nature and get away from the heat, do come here! It's very cooling even in summer!
Here is far from Chiang Mari city. But it is worthy to go. It is a highest mountain in Thailand. Beautiful monuments and a lo of waterfalls are in here. When I came here I am in the cloud. Little bit cool.
We got there through Untouched Thailand, went for a 2 hours trek through the forests and green hills with rice fields.

The trip is really awesome. If you want to see and play with elephants, you have to go to this park. The elephants wear no chains or anything. The live free and get treated lovely. You can feed them, play with them in the mud...More
I was looking forward to going to Doi Inthanon since it is the highest mountain in Thailand and I thought the views would have been spectacular but somehow was underwhelmed.
The top of the mountain has a military base and so it's not fully accessible....More

It is doable via motorcycle - lots of people do it that way but we completed this day trip via a great private tour/car service - Mr Chai is our guide / driver - he speaks perfect English and genuinely a nice and sincere guy... More
