Perhaps end of season, one bar open, all inclusive a disgrace unless you are alcohol dependent. Restaurant staff bone idle, leaving dirty dishes on residents tables rather than collecting them. There was a dark haired lady who was tremendous doing three persons work 👏👏. Only time seen a table outside get cleaned was for a manager having breakfast. Dirty tables = flies! More cats than residents, they get in the restaurant! Very poor choice of food apart from one night when they had a convention to cater for, disgrace really. Room service knocking on door just after 8am to get in!!’ C’mon really. Ed was comfy, shower alright. Air con switched off in hotel. Private beach is the biggest joke of all, worst beach I’ve ever seen anywhere. Could never recommend this hotel,

Had a lovely week stay in hotel Montenegro all inclusive, a hour and a bit by taxi transfer from Podgorica was £80 (pre booked both ways) the food was varied and plentiful with fish, meat, salad, cheese etc etc wine and local spirits all delicious. The hotel is scrupulously clean smelling lovely and is constantly kept that way, staff pleasant friendly and helpful. With a private hotel beach (free sun lounges and towels) indoor and outdoor pools which is great, the resort is picturesque mountains and a millpond ocean however. Away from the hotel it is a little unkempt and great if you love cats but the old town of budva is beautiful high end shops restaurants etc and the old citadel is well worth a visit. Overall a perfect relaxing place which I wouldn’t hesitate to return to and hopefully will make it soon

We stayed at this hotel for a week and enjoyed all aspects of the hotel Inc Gusto Beer Garden and Mica coffee shop. The hotel has v friendly and helpful staff. The buffet display at b fast and at dinner time is well spread out and tasty including an Italian counter with pasta and pizzas. Kristina D in the main restaurant always served us with a warm smile and had a helpful attitude.

We both enjoyed our stay here, we booked a superior room which we were very happy with, spacious, nice bathroom with powerful shower. The room was kept clean and had partial sea view. We were impressed by the friendly staff starting at check in, to the staff that worked in the bars and restaurants. The hotel has access to a beach with ample free sunbeds and shade. Now for the grumble as to why I gave four stars instead of five. If I had booked room and breakfast or half board it would have been 5 stars as we both found the food wholesome and tasty with plenty of choice, but I selected all inclusive which I was dissappointed with in one aspect, the drinks. All inclusive in my book means everything included, you had to pay for icecreams, drinks at the bar by the pool and you had to pay for everything at El Gusto which in in hotel grounds, the free bar which had limited choice of non branded soft drinks, local beer and basic spirits was a bit of a let down, a 200 metre round trip from beach to bar for drinks, hence four stars. Would we come back?..Yes, but not tha all inclusive package which we found disappointing.

Friendly staff that makes the difference if many of your employees are inexperienced. There are countries that excel in all inclusive, Montenegro neither its neighbours do not. I rated hotel as very good, no points deducted that mini bar was excluded from all inclusive. I had read a review that warned that shower cubicles are tiny. They were tiny. Shower had excellent water pressure and tap water was drinkable and good tasting. There were enough sun beds at the very good beach. Families with small children preferred the pool area and also indoor pool had plenty of usage.

Wi-Fi great, room fine, location good for exploring. Poor entertainment in the evenings. All inclusive confusing, too many places you can’t go. No premium drinks offered, poor quality, not even proper Coca Cola. All inclusive food repetitive and luke warm. Extremely rude waitress who worked both in gusto and resort.

Just returned from 7 days here, we had 2 superior rooms that were very stylish with beautiful contemporary decor, king-size bed had a full mattress on, not just 2 singles pushed together, very comfortable to sleep on. Huge shower, rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels supplied. Easy to get sun loungers (you need to get them 8-8.30), there is a towel hut that opens at 8am, you give your towel card in to get a fresh towel every day. Beach is nice, just be aware it's stones upon entering the sea and it quickly goes very deep over 6 feet just a few metres into the sea, felt safe though as there's a square rope section with floats in the sea to rest or hold onto. Air con and WiFi was great. Amazing cake cafe called Mika at the front of the hotel, a real treat for desert lovers. 2 nice bars/restaurant behind hotel overlooking beach, lovely food and cocktails. We found the food to be delicious in the hotel, something for everyone from pizza, pasta, fries to fish selections, stews, meats and rice/veg dishes as well as local, authentic dishes. Lovely deserts too. Be aware unless you're all inclusive you are only allowed to have water with your meal (there are staff at the drink stations to point this out if you attempt to have an apple juice) The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars for this hotel was an experience we had during one evening meal, our 17 year old daughter was approached as she was queueing for food and told that her outfit was inappropriate but that it was fine for that night, this left my daughter feeling very self conscious and she left early without eating much. There is a dress code leaflet which states 'footwear and light clothing' I could understand if someone wore swimwear or had bare feet to dine, our daughter was wearing a long dress with a split and cut out middle (dressed up as we were going out after our meal) the hotel needs to be more specific in clothing descriptions on the dress code to avoid embarrassing guests in future and certainly in the case of a young adult/teenager, we as her parents should have been approached over this issue when we were all seated together as situations like this can have an effect on confidence particularly for teenagers. We found most staff to be friendly in particular the pool towel staff and reception staff. Pool is small but I prefer to swim in the sea anyway. Great little ice cream selection next to the pool and at 1 euro a cone it's great value.

Hotel Montenegro was in all respects a nice 4-star beach hotel with its own free beach with beach chairs. My wife and son and I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights now in July on its new side, equipped with a partial sea view and a balcony. The room and bathroom were of high quality and well equipped. The buffet breakfast was varied, where everyone could definitely find something to eat. Right near the beach was a beach restaurant called El Gusto, where we went every afternoon for a snack. The pizzas were really good because they were baked in a wood-fired pizza oven. The pool area was comfortable sunbathing with chairs and shades, although the places around the pool were in high demand, but luckily we always found a place. You could change the towels to dry ones every day at the kiosk. The location of the hotel on Becic beach was also good, because there was a small market a couple of hundred meters away, where you could buy everything you needed for the trip. There was a bigger road near the market, along which a bus runs every 10 minutes to Budva, right near the old town. From the same bus stop called Boreti, you can also board a bus for e.g. the Boka bay cruise, if you have purchased the cruise in advance. There was also an entrance to an underground tunnel near the hotel, through which you could walk to the Budva side through the tip of the cape. At the other end of the beach in Becic, in the area called Rafailovici, there were good fish restaurant options for dinner, which was about a 1.7 km walk along the promenade.
