The Mediteran Hotel is situated within the attractive tourist settlement of Becici (Budva, Montenegro), on the very coast of the sky-blue Adriatic Sea. Only 100 meters away from it, there is a beautiful sandy beach. 150 Meters of the beach belongs to the Mediteran Hotel and is intended for the hotel's guests merely. Thanks to its harmonic and carefully designed interior, the Mediteran Hotel offers rooms and suits which represent a perfect combination of high quality furniture (designed and made especially for the Hotel Mediteran) and functional content in a space enriched with masterpieces of celebrated Montenegrin painters. Virginia Woolf wrote that one cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well. At the "Amfora" a la carte restaurant you can enjoy tastes of Montenegrin and international cuisine. You will enjoy sipping your morning coffee while gazing at the see and enjoying the cool summer breeze at "Opera" coffee bar, or having a cold salad at the "Azzuro" beach restaurant. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the beautiful and atmospheric indoor and outdoor swimming pools, or relax in the bubbling whirlpools and river pools at the Mediteran Aqua Park. The Mediteran Spa & Wellness Center reflects both sophisticated style and comfort with a full range of treatments designed to rejuvenate the body, renew the spirit and revive the senses. Indulge yourself to the magical feeling of the treatments offered at the Mediteran Spa & Wellness Center. The Mediteran 4+star hotel also includes a business and congress center for events of all kinds; there are several meeting and banquet halls with beautiful natural daylight provided by large windows. A secure hotel parking is also available for your vehicle during your stay, with a rent-a-car service. Hotel's Favorite
My brother and I went on a short 4 day trip to Montenegro and decided on the Mediteran Hotel afyer a lot of research. We asked for a modern room and we were not disappointed. The room had a decent view of the mountains and had a modern shower, flat panel tv, etc inside. There is free high signal wifi everywhere, which is a great bonus! The hotel has a free to use gym (cardio and weights), outdoor pools and an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi tubs. They also have free to use sauna's (Finnish, Russian and regular). We used all the facilities and loved our time at the hotel! We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, which was a good mix of vegetarian and meat. We went on a B&B board basis but decided to eat dinner at the hotel after seeing what they had on offer. Dinner costs 12 euro's, which is roughy £10. Pay an extra euro and they give you unlimited drinks. Meals at the hotel were great, they have staff making omlettes and oancakes at breakfast, and someone making fresh pasta and pizza for you at dinner. We did not eat lunch at the hotel as we were out daytime. A huge THANK YOU to Mirjana at the hotel, who was friendly, helpful and has an excellent grasp of English. The hotel has a beach nearby, which is walking distance. There is a small minimarrt/shop and a desserts cafe nearby, with a larger shop on the main road to the right (opposite Hotel Splendid), which has more varieties of groceries and drinks. We went to the hotel beach one day and spent time exploring the mountain walk, forest etc. Some truly amazing scenic views, a lot of posing and lots of photos were taken. We took a taxi to Mogren Beach one day, which costs 5 euro's each way, which is the standard cost. They have very old century buildings and churches etc there. More scenic views there with even more posing and photos lol. We used a pre-booked taxi company for our airport to hotel transfers which cost us 35 euro's each way, with drivers being very helpful and stopping at cash machines and supermarkets on way so we could get money and also buy snacks and drinks etc. Found them using online searches. Overall, we ate a lot, posed a lot, and had a relaxing enjoyable visit to Montenegro and at the Mediteran Hotel. I put on a lot of weight from eating so much, and the desserts were so good, I had a large plateful each mealtime! I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be going there again. Thank you again to the hotel and to Mirjana!

The best hotel in Montenegro. Kindest staff, cleanliness and quality on high class hotel range. I stayed in several high class hotels all over the world, but I can accurately say Hotel Mediteran offers the best and tastiest food. I am in awe. Thankful for this trip!!

What to do when water at the beach is cold and kids don't want to swim- take them to to pool. We were lucky enough to come rather early in the day and had the pool almost to ourselves. Water was perfect tempearture and Spa receptionist Vanja was absolutely helpful to provide us with all the information we needed. She was welcoming, friendly and very professional. We had our drinks by the pool, enjoyed lunch in the hotel restaurant ( which was amazing! Kudos to the chef) and finished our day relaxing on hot stone beds. Suzana ( works in the restaurant) was very welcoming and so good with kids ( which having 3 of them in a nice restaurant can be handful, but she handled it all with hearth warming smile). There is really not much more a person can ask for from the stuff and the facilities. Keep up the good work guys!

Exellent hotel and friendly stuff in general, especially people at reception. One of the things that I have to mention is exeptional cleanliness of rooms and food in hotel's restaurant. My family and i will definitely visit again!

I spent prolonged weekend with my mother, during Independance day holidays, and we were actually surprised how good it was! Food variety and the kindness of the staff, especially at the reception, and of the maids, were exceptional. Also, the sea was warm, so we went swimming every day. The only complaint is the untidy plot between hotel and the promenade on the coast, but it is not related to the hotel itself. However, system for providing beach towels to hotel guests should be bettered, as supplies were not always sufficient. You can walk from the hotel to the Old Town of Budva to the northwest, or to the beach Kameno, to the southeast, if you like. Plenty of places to drink or eat something while looking at the seaside on the routes. Overall, really pleasant experience that we will most likely repeat.

I just wanna warn you on management in this hotel. My mom went through big trauma on vacation in this hotel because of chairs on their private beach. Beach chairs are very old, unsafe and dysfunctional. She was just sitting on chair when the chair suddenly folded under her and caught her hand finger, due this she was badly injured, her finger was broken and deeply cut. After that she had surgery to safe finger and had risk to lose part of finger. Day after, chef of beach reached us and explained us that happened two years ago to one more guest in their hotel. Still they are not moving out that furniture, they are consciously put people in risk!!! After this situation happened management didn’t react or reach my mom, didn’t even respond on my emails like nothing happened. Later on when I initiated to talk about situation, they promised they will report this to the insurance and include us to follow procedure, but of course that didn’t happened. After we left hotel even I tried to get response and answer from them about compensation for injury, they didn’t provide any information or response at all!!! Worst hotel and management I’ve ever been in!!! I expect them now to answer here on rate with lies since everything is public, but still don’t believe them!

I picked the hotel on booking.com and then wrote directly to the hotel. All the excellent reviews reflect the truth. Hotel has renovated and unrenovated rooms. We paid extra for a renovated one and it was worth it. Hotel is spotless in terms of cleanliness, food variety, friendliness of all staff employees. The Spa Center is superb with a nice indoor pool and a jacuzzi, saunas etc. It is a short ride to Budva Old City. I had a wonderful time and staying apart from the last day and it was due to a local guest (lady) who out of blue came and shouted to me claiming that the pool is a place to relax and not for kids enjoying their time with joyful shouts to one another and wanted me out from the indoor pool!!!! ONE SUGGESTION for the MANAGEMENT - since you have people from all walks of life and character, those who love kids and those who cannot stand kids/children, make a schedule when families with kids and those without can use the indoor pool as there is only one pool for all, so you spare your guests from the embarresment of being shouted at their face!!!

Room Tip: Be careful as there is only one indoor pool and there are guests who simply are annoyed by kids...
