Everything we ordered was spot on! Best breakfasts hands down, from Eggs Benny to the Cheesy Skillet and don’t get me started on the perfect shredded crispy hash browns! Lunch/supper was amazing as well. The Fish and Chips were my fave! Highly recommend!!
Don't go solo. this was my favourite restaurant in 2020 but all has changed in 2022 (new owners) are not welcoming to singles. I was a regular until on a busy night I was told I could not have an outside table if I was dining alone. Wow....this was humiliating.
We were here in 2020 and really liked the restaurant. The owner was also very nice and friendly. Fast forward to 2022 and the food is marginal at best and the owner was extremely unfriendly when we tried to say hello. Two really bad meals here and we will not be coming back. There are too many good restaurants in La Cruz and Bucerias to waste our time and money at this place. Hint, stop serving frozen fries and meatloaf that tastes nothing like meatloaf. I could go on but readers can get the hint.
Had an amazing evening and dining expierences tonight! The new La Cruz Inn Rooftop dining with Chef Philip and some wonderful live background music was well worth the visit! We have been going to the Inn for years on the street side dining and menu which is exceptional home cooked recipes and great variety! Tonight on the Rooftop the meals were exceptional, highly recommend the seared Tuna, Stuffed Chicken Breast and Beef Short Ribs was divine! We were sharing! Staff were friendly and attentive even with a full house! As well the Owners/Management were on hand to chat and oversee the evening! Highly recommend the La Cruz Inn Rooftop for an intimate dinner or a dinner with friends you won’t regret it! And for something really casual grab a seat out front and enjoy the drinks and amazing food!!!…
We didn’t spend much time here. We had to cancel most our stay as our plans for the area changed. It was too bad. We would have liked to stay. A small hotel with a true Mexican flavour. - in a charming little town of La Cuz. We were told by 2 people that they had stayed and dined at the inn and would go nowhere else in La Cruz. We ate at the Inn also. Breakfast was very good. The “suite” had an enclosed bedroom which had air conditioning. The living area and kitchen were outdoors with a covering. So different - but it totally worked. No problems with internet. It was easy to meet people and to some did hang out in the patio. Very gracious hosts. If in the area, we would be back. Will definitely recommend to friends.
We never knew that the inn was on the other side of the town square! It was a very nice idea to stop on the street patio for lunch and a drink. The food was nice ( try the avocado stuffed with shrimps) and the mimosas were good! Service was great too. Not sure about the inn part of the establishment but well worth a lunch visit.
Went once for the dancing horses Manager was up tight and a bit pushy. We were looking for a seat for two, someone else went to look he said he was the only one to make decision. Put me off right there , however stayed for my wife. Last trip give me the Tree House and Fonds Ciqua anytime. Meal was average.
We were in the area for over a week and went here twice. Excellent food and good prices. They have tables set up along the street where you can sit and enjoy your meal and enjoy a view of the park. The waiters were very good. The second night that we went was a Friday at about 430-500, they have hired local cowboys to perform with their horses for about an hour, was an excellent show. One of the little kids in our group even got to go for a ride on the horse. I’ll definitely go back next year
I came here with my fiancé and a couple of friends. The food was really yummy and the staff were very friendly. We all had burgers and they were bloody good. I’ve also had the La Cruz salad, it was delicious! Portion sizes could have been a little bigger but all in all great service and great flavours. So much so that I’ve returned 3 days in a row.
We went to La Cruz for 6 days. The first place we had dinner was The La Cruz Inn. Dinner was delicious, the margaritas went down quick. We went back the next night (Friday) also, as the dancing horses come on that night. So much fun, everyone so friendly. The Inn was our default place to eat, you always knew the food would be great and you could find a place to sit. Fresh seafood every night. Breakfast is also delish, the price is great.
