Located on the Farm Whisky, on the Southern banks of the Crocodile South of the Kruger Park lies Ngwenya Lodge, overlooking the Kruger. We had a last minute booking for a 2 night stay after KNP. This was the last chalet available, 4 sleeper self catering. A telephonic reservation was made, payment made and pop sent off. Telephonic confirmation was... More

Located in really attractive surroundings along the banks of the Crocodile River with Kruger Park on the opposite river bank. The views from the time share unit which we rented were simply magnificent with an ever changing wildlife panorama. Apart from trips into Kruger, the resort itself has numerous leisure facilities plus a substantial kiddies play area. There is even... More

We own a week timeshare here at Ngwenya and have been regularly over the last 25+ years. It is without a doubt our favorite holiday destination and one we try never to miss! The resort is constantly being up-graded and has grown tremendously over the years. It is a fantastic time for all. Very family friendly, great accommodation, amazing views,... More

What a lovely place to rewind and rest! We had a river view chalet and the river was right in front of us. We had bush TV from early in the morning right through the day. Animals come and go ! We saw elephant, buffalo, water buck drinking and saw the hippos with their little ones leave the water to... More

This is the place to unwind. If you dont want to search for the wildlife you will enjoy this place. The restuarant is at the river bank and alot of wildlife is here. We even got to see leopards. Service was excellent from each staff member from gate, reception, cleaning, laundry and waitrons. Each unit is private and we had... More

The cottage we stayed in had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very basic, but comfortable with all that one needed. The patio overlooked the Crocodile River and its passing show of animals: waterbuck, hippos, rhinos, crocodiles, and a big variety of birds. Just 10 kms from the Crocodile Bridge gate to the Kruger, we spent a wonderful week in and... More

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Ngwenya and everything about it is brilliant. The accommodation is comfortable and spacious with aircon and everything works well. We had a wonderful view of the Crocodile River from our stoep and although drought conditions saw lots and lots of wonderful animals and birds. The restaurant needs attention however as food... Three of us joined other friends for a short break at Ngwenya and what a great time we had!!! We got a large chalet at short notice with everything we could have needed. The temperatures were up about 40 degrees and the air conditioning worked really well, thank goodness. Lovely large deck with incredible views over the Crocodile River, Hippos,... More

The river view chalets overlook a scenic floodplain, which allows for magnificent views of the area where the big cats often hunt. Our Dam and Bush view chalets are set back on the property and also have beautiful views, as they overlook tranquil dams or bush areas. Game viewing hides make game viewing on the riverfront accessible to all – so no one misses out on spotting any of their favorite wild animals.
