The hotel is very cozy and beautiful. The food was delicious and the prices very reasonable. The SPA, located 3 blocks away, was great! The pool is not heated, but it was windy anyway, so we were in the jacuzzi the whole time. Viri, the masseuse, was amazing! After checking out our car wouldn't start. The staff was very helpful... I was recently in Mexico City, Mineral de Pozos, and Guanajuato on a busy trip. This hotel was by far my favorite and the room was the nicest of the places I stayed. The décor is exceptional and my room (Santa Brigida) was tucked away in the back corner and was very private, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. James... More

Very tastefully furnished hotel with good facilities and service. Unfortunately, very noisy environments, loud music and noise into the early hours. Thi wifi connection was very poor.Anyways very helpful and friendly staff. Food prices above average, but the food and drink of good quality.

Thank you for staying with us and thank you for your comments. I apologize for the noise. Most weekends (and during the week) our hotel is quiet and relaxing. There was a group of six couples staying that weekend celebrating a birthday , and I think they were partying a little too hard. I have discussed this with our staff... More

Love the town, deserted though during week. This is one of my fav places to visit for lunch as a day trip from San Miguel de Allende. This was the first time I stayed the night. We had a tiny but adorable room with 2 twin beds. No internet anywhere in the hotel. No one speaks English, so if you... More

Thanks for the review. Glad you enjoyed staying with us this time. Regarding the internet, the local service provider (not Telmex, we have been waiting 10 years for Telmex to bring Infinitum to Pozos)) has had problems lately which have affected the service throughout Pozos, for those who can afford it. Normally though, service is available throughout the hotel. Sorry... More

Absolutely delightful. The ghost town of Pozos, and its surrounding mines, make for a wonderful excursion from San Miguel. The Americans who have redone the hotel obviously put a great deal of thought and money into the facility. It is delightful in every respect. And I must confess, it is a true bargain when compared to what a comparable hotel... More

We were there four nights for the Mariachi Festival! Very picturesque hotel, the room designs were fantastic. We stayed in El Cactus, the cactus garden was stunning. The décor was true art. Great meals in the hotel and the Cantina Mina was an old school bar, felt I could have walked in off my horse! The service was outstanding everywhere,... More

Though we stayed only for a night I have not a minimal complaint. Beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast and great Spa Club. We will definitely come back ASAP, Pozos is a great place to share with your couple.

...as good as ever, excellent accommodation, food and service. James is running a great restaurant, dinner in the bar, morning coffee to our room and breakfast out on the patio. We will be back next year.

Beautifull hotel in the heart of Mineral. Definately comming back. The visit in mineral was for 3 days, excelent service, good food, so busy touring the small town and mines didnt even get a chance to make it to the pool and spa area (have to go back for that!!) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Nice place, very clean and comfy. Rooms are beautiful and pintoresque. The only inconvinient was that spa is like a block or two away from hotel. I highly recommend massages in the spa. You should better visit in summer!
