Friendly helpful staff, realy good foods and drinks, beautifully situated with awesome views in a laid back atmosphere and brand new linen on a very comfy bed. Definitely recommendable. Well managed. A note of warning, roadworks and lots of animals and speed reduction humps makes this a very slow drive. Make sure to buy food and drink before heading this... More

What an awesome week in Coffee Bay. Staff are super friendly & super cool. Great vibes... or chill... your choice. Loads to do. House food served was delicious. Would definitely be visiting again. The dogs and Mr Jones are part of the furniture. Thanks to Devon, Marcus, Kingsley and the legendary Herman on the drums. Made plenty of friends and... More

Stayed almost a week. Tents are nice, decent bed inside of em, take tent 0 as it is a bit more private than the other tents. Food was decent, prices similar to most places in town. We only stayed one night at the sugarloaf, but it was definitely a wonderful night. The location is really good (even better than coffeeshack ;)) the room and facilities were fine. But the best thing about the sugarloaf were the people working there! They were superfriendly and we had a cool night out with them. The only negative point was... More

In July 2016 we went to coffeebay. We stayed two nights in sugarloaf and had an amazing time. The atmosphere is so relaxed, the real holiday feeling!! The people working at sugarloaf made us feel at home. If you are looking for a lay back hostel, like it to live and chill outside and drink a beer in the bar,... More

We only spent one day in Sugarloaf. The location is really close to the beach and even has a nice view of the ocean. The staff is young and friendly and there is always a good vibe going on. They have a pingpong table and even a pool table. Would definitely go back :)

After being at Sugarloaf Backpackers just for one hour, we already felt bad that we can't stay longer. Not just because of a beautiful Coffee Bay, but also because of friendly staff in this hostel who were really welcoming and friendly. With chilling atmosphere and nice people around we felt like at home in this place. Thank you again Sugarloaf... More

Me and two of my friends stayed over just for a night at Sugarloaf Backpackers in Coffee Bay but you could quickly feel the vibrant atmosphere with guests and visitors sitting around the fire. The place also offers an amazing view of the ocean. The staff is super friendly and helpful so you really feel welcome. Thank you! Neja
