We stayed here for a special birthday and were delighted in every way. The location is about 20 mins around the lake from the busy (and not so nice) town of La Fortuna. We thought it was perfect as the views are directly over the Lake, so it was beautiful at sunrise, sunset and at every time in between and...

We stayed in one of their largest rooms with our four boys. The villa had a lot of room. The master had a huge king bed. The back of the villa had a separate bathroom and bedroom which had 4 twin beds in it. It was perfect. The villa had stunning views of Lake Arenal. Loved sitting having coffee on...

This hotel is located by lake Arenal with stunning views of the mountain and the lake. But it is far from any activities you want to do in the area and you will end up spending $150 USD or more just for a single day ground transportation. If you end up staying at this hotel, pick dry days, allocate several...

Dear Ravi, Thank you again for staying with us, and thank you for your review. We recommended you - and every guest we have - to rent a car while being in the ARENAL area. It gives you freedom, and it is cheaper than taxis. The day taxi with a cost of $ 150 for 10 hrs is not that...

This place is awesome as a hideout and place to relax. We spend our last 2 days in this hotel and loved it. It is close enough to Fortuna and the volcano to do a lot of activities but it is in a quiet atmosphere. The rooms are highly decorated and separated from each other providng townhouse like separation. We...

We just returned from 4 nights at this gorgeous hotel. The photos provided don't do it justice. The hotel is charming and peaceful. We ate a delicious dinner one night at the hotel. The rooms were large. We stayed in number 2 which was a two bedroom and spacious enough for two adults and 2 teens. The only disappointment was...

We had a very comfortable stay at the inn. The views are fabulous and the staff is very pleasant and friendly. We got in very late and they made us comfortable close to midnight. The Costa Rican breakfast is good and eating in the garden is recommended. The covered pool is heated and the kids could swim while it was...

First let me start off by saying that the views here are spectacular. And the lake looked great from the room we got. But this was the only thing that impressed me while we were here. The rooms are quaint, somewhat dated and musty. Light switches for the living room were in the bathroom behind the door for some odd...

Dear, Thank you for your review. We feel sorry that you were not comfortable in our little paradise. 9 out of 10 guests give us a 5/5 on Tripadvisor. The rain and many little things gave you probably a negative view on everything. Gecko’s are very common over here, and as they eat insects and their eggs, people let them...

Each cottage faces what is arguably the best view of Arenal Laguna. The staff were so warm and accommodating. The food in the restaurant is good and they can tweak things to your needs (one of my kids is gluten free). The infinity pool and the covered jaccuzzi pool are lovely. The cottage was spacious and comfortable. I would LOVE...

This property was our first stop in Costa Rica after arriving. The driver gave a great overview of the area during the drive to the hotel. Our bungalow/cottage was way more than expected. Very comfortable, 2 bedroom with all the amenities. The front patio was our favorite - sipping coffee, watching birds, overlooking the lake - perfect! Breakfast was included...

We were pleasantly surprised how nice this place was right when we walked in the door of the reception/restaurant/bar area. We showed up unexpectedly & were greeted by a pleasant staff & the owner Peggy came out, showed us to our cottage with unbelievable views of the lake, overlooking a hilly pasture with 8-10 horses grazing. It was an hour...
