Peaceful stay at the Kariwak. Homely experience, timely service and very humble and hospitable staff. The manager Maisha and her team helped my stay in such a great way. What a lovely place to stay with friends, family or love ones. We recommend the garden rooms. They are spacious and has its own porch area. We had a fantastic time here. Highly recommended for long stay, it feels like a retreat. Dian our server always wore a pleasant smile at breakfast. While some services were limited because of the pandemic, Chef Elvin was able to accommodate us for a last minute dinner reservation. Packed lunch is available by request. The food was always full of herbs from their garden and the fish was fresh and tasty. Thank you for a great time!

My partner and I were a bit hesitant to travel due to the pandemic but we still decided to make a quick get away to Tobago. Recommended by a friend, we decided to try Kariwak since we wanted somewhere comfortable and peaceful. The most hospitable, warm and accommodating voice we heard while shopping around “........Maisha speaking.....” She was AMAZING! Hospitality is alive in Tobago. She ensured that we felt so much at home and it was so genuine. She gives the space life. The room was always cozy and so clean. Avril the housekeeper was great. There is a restaurant on sit. The lunch was a local meal bursting with flavors prepared by Chef Elvin. He customized the meal just for us. You can spot him at times picking the home grown seasonings that excites you for the meal to come. Despite the effects of the pandemic the owner Mr Clovis is hopeful ensuring that this Crown Point oasis is in excellent shape. Thank you Kariwak we will be back.

Perfect location:close to the airport and beaches. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well kept. Maisha is a gem. She and her team are all warm and welcoming and did their best to ensure the experience was wonderful. The cuisine is the best, with a variety of delicious meals served everyday. The hot chocolate was a highlight for me. Also loved the idea of yoga classes . Will highly recommend this resort.

This was at least my sixth stay at Kariwak Village over the last 10 years. I am a world traveller for business and for leisure who has stayed in hotels and resorts on most of the continents.  This place is a unique, little gem and on a gorgeous little island.  Picture yourself living in a small indigenous village. replete with thatched roofed huts and winding garden paths. This is an eco-friendly, Eden like setting with all manner of exotic birds serenading you all day. The food is amazingly fresh and most ingredients are sourced from their gardens right on the premises.  And on many nights there is local entertainment.  You will not find a more welcoming staff and the best beach is a 10 minute walk away (vehicle transportation to the beach is provided by the resort if you prefer to ride).   My girlfriend speaks often of her morning yoga sessions there in the open air, village hut.  And the owner is so caring of his guests that once, fearing we will miss our flights, he immediately dispatched a driver to rush us to the airport.  I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

A short 5min walk from the airport you’ll find The Kariwak Village hotel . We have just stayed for 10 days and have to say it was beautiful and very peaceful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the food very fresh and tasty with many of the ingredients grown on site. The menu changes every day .The staff are friendly and attentive and really go out of their way to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. The grounds and gardens are well established and add to the ambiance of the place. We will definitely return as we had a very nice time relaxing in such amazing surroundings. Our thanks to the staff for making our holiday memorable.
