Visited for lunch. Setting - lovely views, quiet, and away from the busy towns. Service - Good, polite. Restaurant - Clean, very modern and good quality feel Food - Fresh, hot, good flavors, cooked well. Good for lunch or dinner. Slightly aloof

I am writing this as I am still at Lion Hill. From my first e-mail to arrival, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. After realizing I forgot my adaptor on the way to the lodge, one was waiting for me in my room. When it did not fit, someone quickly managed to convert my plug into a Kenya... More

Many people when they travel to Africa they expect to find same standards as in Europe, they try to compare and that is the big mistake of many many tourists. I am european as well, and have been in many different lodges and I must say that Kenya is expensive, and for an expensive price you find average places, average... More

Within our safari with African Bush & Beach Adventures we spent a night at Lionhill Lodge. It was not our first stay but I must say they really improved! The rooms were refurbished, they built a super nice big pool with pool bar. The Indian owner was there personally to care about the guests and lodge, we told him we... More

The terrace in the lodge has amazing view to the park and the room we stayed in had the same if not better one; The rooms have fens; Staff spray the rooms against mosquitoes and there is a net above the bed fully covering it; I personally liked the design of the place and rooms; The food in the lodge... Although a bit tired and in need of a bit of love, this place is still very good indeed and quite simply has THE best view of any place in Tsavo East. As far as I am aware it is the only lodge located on a hill, which offers almost uninterrupted 360 views from the restaurant. I think all the... More

Perched high on the hills bordering Tsavo East national park, the Lion HILL lodge gives the visitor good memories not only for it's sweeping views but hospitality and professionalism of it's staff. Thanks Nicholas and team see you many more times in 2016!

The Lodge is set on a hill allowing it to have a very good view of a wide area of the park. One is able to see many animals as they pass by below headed to a nearby watering hole in the evening and early morning on their way to graze. The rooms were clean with artistic furniture that was... More

Rooms are quite basic and do not offer much comfort, but are good enough for one night. More attention could be paid to detail, such as providing chairs on the balcony. Lunch and dinner were okay but nothing special. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Views from the lodge are excellent and its location provides quick and easy access to the... More
