Stayed at Chambai for one night on the way to Mara. It is well located in town close to the matatu stage. Spacious, clean rooms, shower was HOT, mosque next door. The food was ok, staff friendly and the prices very reasonable. The parking lot is spacious and secure.

Well, few positive things... it is in town, it is affordable, the rooms are not neat at all, the beddings are worse, Am I going back there? definitely not... The food- better than the rooms, they try. Good for the pocket but for a night if you must.

For what they charge, it is pretty much worth it. They are currently charging 1500 for single rooms and 2300 for a shared on b & b. The rooms are spacious, they a huge parking lot and i pretty much did not expect this at this price. Apart from the loud mosque next door, it was pretty much okay. Narok...

We got this hotel as a last minute option in Narok. I would NOT recommend it! The beddings were not specially clean! The showers were a shock! The wires from the instant shower were hanging out dangerously...we were scared of being electrocuted! As soon as we were done with the shower, the shower head fell off, hanging dangerously on the...

First things first. If you do not want a culture shock arrive in daylight. We arrived in the dark and I wondered where on earth we were going and felt very uncomfortable. This was a pity because the next day in daylight Narok was nice for a stroll around. We stayed for 3 nights as seeing some projects in the...

For the price - I really can't complain. We just needed a place to stay for a night. As we travelled from Nairobi to the Mara. It served this purpose - however I found the staff to be unhelpful and the rooms uninviting. There is also a mosque nearby that has a loud early morning call to prayer.

I had the worst night hotel stay of my life here. Granted, this hotel has better accommodations than most other hotels in Narok. The rooms are huge and relatively clean and it is beyond cheap. However, the hotel is very inconveniently sandwiched in between a mosque and a nightclub. Starting around 10pm the club starts booming its music which lasts...
