My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary...it was incredible from the moment we arrived. We were lucky to be upgraded to a chalet which was stunning with gorgeous views of Lake Wakatipu. The main lodge is so welcoming, warm and friendly. The staff take care of your every need without having to... More

My husband and I spent three nights at Blanket Bay recently and were in complete awe of the location, staff, food and activities at this resort. About a1 hour drive from Queenstown Airport; We were treated to an incredible ride along Lake Wakatipu and the snow capped peaked mountains. Truly flawless service levels as every facet of our visit was... More

The view from the balcony breathtaking. Happy hour with interesting canapés, yummy. The dinner was never ending small serves to wet... More

We recently had a five night stay at Blanket Bay for our honeymoon. It is so gorgeous and everything from the lovely welcome, champagne and flowers in the room, views, massage, spa, to the evening canapes in the bar or games room were all so special. The food is delicious with the evening meal changing daily and a choice of... More

This is the 4th time that we have stayed at this lodge and until this experience it has been a totally stunning. Our stay has always been for a week. Regrettably the past 12 months has seen a completely new management team in place which has impacted service levels and the desire to truly look after the customer. A number... More

We stayed at Blanket Bay for 5 nights in September 2016 for our honeymoon and were not disappointed. The premises itself is of fantastic quality and architecturally impressive, with spectacular views that are amazing. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel extremely important, as was every guest staying at the property. Every staff member came and... More

Blanket Bay has everything you could want in a lodge. Beautiful views, comfortable common areas with open fires to relax in, and friendly, efficient staff to cater for every need. The food was all first class and our suite roomy, comfortable and clean. The only downside was having to leave.

From the moment we arrived until departure, we were absolutely pampered. Our suite was luxurious. A huge bedroom with every amenity including a fake fire for atmosphere although it did get a little chilly at night. A massive walk in bathroom with dual basins and separate show complete with amazing toiletries and a large balcony with great views of Lake... More

From the time we arrived until leaving four days later, we felt like we were spending time in the country home of best friends. Everyone did their best to make our stay memorable. There are lots of beautiful lodges in stunning locations, and this is certainly one. But the people made it special. Our thanks go to Aymeric, Enrique, David,... More
