Great hotel with ski in and ski out facilities together with private lockers. Hotel has onsen and it free for inhouse guests and a heated swimming pool. Rates are not cheap but you have choice of skiing down to Ace Family Chair lift or walk a 50m to 2 other chair lifts. Hotel guests get discounts on ski lessons at...

If you are a keen skier this is THE place to stay. It is right on the slopes next to the main chairlift. You can ski all morning then come in for a rest on the bed and easily out again for some floodlight skiing. The ski locker room was very conveniently placed and seemed to dry and warm the...

At the recommendation of our travel agent, we booked the Niseko Alpen Hotel. Upon arrival, it did not look like much from the outside... seems dated. However, upon check in, you realize that the staff at this hotel go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. They even remember your name! Check in was smooth and quick. Staff...

First timer to Niseko and this hotel does not disappoint. We took the Hokkaido Resortliner from the airport which was pretty straight forward and head directly to Niseko. The nearest stop for drop off to this hotel will be the Hirafu Welcome Center (Should be the second stop for the bus drop off) From the Hirafu Welcome Center, the hotel...

The hotel room for family of four is reasonable size and breakfast is nice with lot of different types of western and Japanese foods. Although the breakfast hours is kind of short only from 7-9am. The swimming pool and onsen area is kind of small in compare to the same class of hotel. But Alpen strong point is the unbeatable...

This would have to be one of the best ski-in hotels in the world. We had planned on travelling with two children and changed at the last moment. The hotel staff were excellent helping us change to a different room - Japanese style - was excellent - brilliant bathroom, super comfy bed (actually could be set with 3 beds if...

hv stayed twice before all for skiing, including this time round. hv good rotenburo and indoor swimming pool. Morning buffet is much better than previously with more choices of both jp and western foods, e.g. Omelette and fried eggs made on order, fresh sashimi etc. in-room wifi can be weak so hv to go to lobby for better reception.

Great hotel in a convenient location! The hotel is clean, the rooms are well maintained, and the staff very friendly. Each room has an assigned ski locker and towards the end of our week long stay, a glove dryer was set up, which was nice. The onsen is a must after a fantastic day on the slopes. Housekeeping will clean...

This was our second stay at Niseko Alpen Hotel. The location proved again very good (ski-in ski-out and a lot of restaurants nearby) and so did the superb mountain view from the room (we chose again a mixed Japanese- Western style room). The bathroom was ok, although not exceptional, as it was the usual cabin type (which is always quite...
