Can't say enough about Brian and Jenny. They were great hosts who made our stay highly enjoyable. The accommodations were very nice. Our room was on the top floor in the back and was modern with plenty of space. We signed up for one of Jenny's home-cooked meals and it was delicious!! Most items came from her garden. The only... After a long hot day cycling along the Canal, this Chambre d'hôte was everything we needed and so much more. Beautiful room in a cool, charming house and exceptionally welcoming hosts, not to mention the delicious evening meal. This was our favourite accommodation along the cycle route from Bordeaux to Narbonne.

My wife and I stayed an Chambre d'hotes Pugnal on Sept. 19, 2012 and had a wonderful visit. We had a large bedroom on the first floor of the large country house. We went for a beautiful 40 minute circular walk before dinner on part of the Santiago de Compostelle trail and then were served a wonderful evening meal along... More

This place isn't great. The decor is terrible and cheap. Shared bathrooms, including with family members, for some rooms resulting in lines and limited access at night and morning. Room filled with moths and a distant unfriendly owner who seemed confused about the booking. Cats crawling over everything. Place is isolated and not easy at night on dark roads. Limited... More

We stayed just one night but we enjoyed a lot! Run by a couple of very friendly Brits, this place is a small gem. A nice pool, clean and comfortable rooms, free Wifi and very good food. Actually the dinner at €15 was the greatest vale of it all! Copious, organic and tasty, right from the garden. Definitely a place... More

We were walking the GR65. Pugnal is about 8km beyond Moissac on the footpath. If you walk along the canal you do have to double back along a busy road, so higher variant of GR65 might be better but is hilly. However, it's all worth it when you arrive! The house is charming, as are the owners. The bedroom was... More
