The staff are not help full, when you can find them. We waited 1,40 minutes for dinner in the end i went to the kitchen lift and found our food in there. The rooms are very basick but clean. Location is good if your driving around Rodopi but it not good for local stuff. It was cheap so you get what you pay for.
Unforgettable summer days, very pleasant hotel. The setting is great. Clean, cozy, comfortable! Nature is wonderful, flowers, pines, fresh air. Very suitable place for rest with children. Relax in the pool, the sun loungers are among the flowers, the green grass. Great!
I stayed with my family in Feb 2019 in Stream Resort. We had a great time there, the service was excellent, everyone were very friendly, the apartments are spacious and have everything you need and the amenities were really nice ( the place was really warm too). The hotel is only 5 min to Malina ski center with a car and there is regular transport to the ski center. The place is a bit outside of Pamporovo but to be honest have everything you need inside it. I loved the buffet too- defo recommend it
The hotel is located about 1 km from the Malina ski center. They have a shuttle service to there. From the rooms there is a very beautiful view of the mountains and the forest. About the service we were a bit disappointed. Most of the stuff can't even say some words in English and except the language they are some problems about their behaviour to the clients, I mean some of them. The breakfast was satisfying but I cant say the same thing for the diner. The main features of the hotel was the location and the view. Don't expect a lot of hospitality. We arrived at 5 p.m but our room wasn't still ready.
The view from the is great... and the sound of the stream from the river is pleasant... But just about it. The hotel seems to be handled by 5 people... The pool and the (basic and semi broken) gym was open only from 12PM... The breakfast was very basic.. And the one waitress was very busy for the number of guests... The rooms need to be renovated. The handles on the doors were broken and our room key lock was almost broken. The small bar is also handled by the same one waitress... When I asked from an Espresso.. I was asked to wait for 10 minutes as she was busy in another place... Maybe it was all because we were there off season..but the hotel seemed to be occupied (though maintenance should be done all year long)...
The hotel is rather large; and has exactly 3 people on staff: a receptionist, a waiter (working 14 hour days day after day), and a single cook. Who takes about a hour and a half to cook anything, and I checked twice (one evening there were about 20 guests in the hall, the other about 5 persons) My reservation was made through Booking. They first tried to put me in an unsuitable room (NO BED! The 'studios' in this hotel have NO BED! Instead, they have a cheap sofa extended and set as a bed) When I objected to this lunacy, they suggested I cancel my reservation with Booking and pay 'privately' a substantially lower price and get an apartment with a real bed. I accepted (what a fool!) Then they changed their mind and gave me a price which was about equal of the one I'd pay through Booking, except I'd have to pay cash (no receipt -> no taxes) and Booking wouldn;t take their fee (as it appeared as a cancelled reservation to them) Spa center had all of the facilities turned off, apparently to save on electricity, and no staff. (How could it? A 80-100 room hotel with 3 people on staff...) After a nice quarrel, they turned on some of the equipment. Not the pool though (imagine a pool with circulation and heater turned off) No maid service was provided. When I asked, they told me maids clean up once every 3 days. The cherry on the cake was that they turn off the hot water in the late evening though, apparently to save a cent or two. Wifi worked, but had technical issues with forced proxy servers so I could only use a phone, laptops wouldn;t work. Welcome to Bulgaria, land of the mafia. Be warned.…
We stayed for 6 nights at the hotel. It is reasonably price. Room rates are inclusive if breakfast and dinner. The rooms are spacious but didnt feel that homey though. They are equipped with kitchen complete with cooking utensils. The room does not include bath tub and washing machine. Would have been nice if those were included too. I enjoyed the sauna and swimming in their pool after hours of skiing. Guests can enjoy those for free, too. I just wish they had cleaned our room and changed bedsheets as often as possible during our stay. It seemed to me you need to advise them of such request everytime. I had issues with the door lock, too. One time I was not able to open the door so I got out of the window instead. Another issue was the flooding on the bathroom. Wish they had addressed that by now. Staff were very friendly and always quick to respond to requests. They even gave me martenitsa and a mug for free when I checked. That was a very sweet gesture I appreciated so much. Those who plan to stay here need to also consider in budgeting the cost of taking a taxi in order to get to the town to buy something from the supermarket or try out other restos. …
We enjoyed a good enough spacious 1-bedroom apartment. Small toilet leak but not a big deal. However, it is a cheap place asking for 4-star money. Location is good. Parking not so big. Staff is pleasant. Restaurant is average. Swimming-pool wasnt warm enough - about 26 degrees. Spa area looked fine but we didnt use it. However, it is strange that Spa/Pool/Fitness area starts work only from 12 noon. Free ski shuttles provided. Wi-fi was bad.
Basic facilities. Wifi on 3rd floor weak. Spa ok. It's fairly new but cheap construction already showing through. Door handles come off when you pull. Only 30% of lights seem to have bulbs. Food standard Bulgarian fayre. Staff friendly. You get what you pay for I guess.
