What a privilege to finally be back at Sukhavati again. Everything is designed to nourish body and soul, from its magical setting in an old Javanese palace by the river surrounded by tropical rainforest, incredible experienced staff who work as a team to nurture you with delicious vegetarian fare and blissful treatments, and daily tailored advice from skilled Dr. Komang to help eliminate toxins, strengthen your immune system and set you on a long-term path to rejuvenation. It’s hard to leave and we’re already planning our next visit!
This is definitely one of the best places in the world to balance mind and body. The facility is beautiful, the treatments, the food of the highest quality and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to come back next year and would heartily recommend it to anyone.
Sukhavati completely transformed my life and the ways I think about self-care. As a yogi and an avid reader of all things Ayurveda, I was so excited for my 3-day visit, and from the moment I arrived on the grounds I immediately felt a deep sense of peace. Everything was meticulously thought out by the lovely staff—incense placed everywhere, rose petals in our bathroom sinks, lovely snacks, delicious communal meals, in-room facials and massages and Ayurvedic detox juices and smoothies on demand. The highlight of course were the Ayurvedic treatments. I felt nurtured by the practitioners. Every treatment overlooked a river, the sounds of the jungle gently rocking you to total relaxation. I had daily two-person massages, hot bags of herbs placed on my body, oil dripping on my forehead...it was all so magical. Other highlights: morning walks through the village through rice paddies, morning yoga, food talks by Dr. Raju, and delicious mocktails by the river. I cannot wait to go back to this oasis. What an unforgettable stay. I’ve taken so much of what I’ve learned and applied it to my daily life and have noticed a positive change in myself. Thank you to everyone soul at Sukhavati!…
Everything was perfection .. the only problem was the mosquitoes . Such a paradise to stay in and become rejuvenated . The food was delicious and all the staff so friendly and professional. Highly recommended and the advertisements accurate.🙏
We had a wonderful experience at Sukhavati. It started with a warm welcome the moment we arrived. The lobby staff greeted us with beautiful flower necklaces. The receptionist then took us to our private villa, which is called Chintanami. As we entered our room, we immediately saw our own private pool. During our stay we had the opportunity to meet like-minded travelers from all over the world. We chatted and exchanged our experiences regarding wellness and yoga. If you come here, you will definitely make new friends. We also noticed that everybody was happy and relaxed. Their skins were shining! As we explored the other parts of the hotel, we felt relaxed and noticed that our pace really slowed down in a good way. The staffs were always so nice to us and were courteous. It was the best Ayurvedic retreat hotel that we have ever stayed in. It was truly amazing! The next time that we come back, we’ll book an even longer stay. The treatments in the spa were fantastic! The Ayurvedic physician was brilliant and he helped us very much! Unfortunately we had to leave but hopefully we will back soon.…
My week at Sukhavati was the best I could give myself. Time to give my soul and body what it needed. Wonderful yoga, The treatments at the spa was amazing. And the food so good. In between being in the beautiful environment was so good for the soul. The staff so extremely kind and helpful.
Sukhavati is like a hug - it embraces you giving you all it has to see you nurtured and rejuvenated. Ayurvedic treatments and consultations are of the highest standard and all staff from housekeeping, kitchen to therapists know your individual program to ensure you are getting the best care. To sit on the edge of a rainforest whilst having a foot soak and look at out at a water monitor swimming below listening to birds, you feel connected to Mother Nature. I arrived after poor health and impacted by life events, and left with life changing practice ... Balance and Gratitude Thank you Sukhavati xxx Chris
I stayed at Sukhavati for 3 days in January 2020. the daily programme was amazing, food delicious, scenary and villa beautiful. the personel very kind and helpful. Also having the possibility to take lunch and dinner with other guests gave the opportunity to meet people from around the world and share thoughts. 3 days were however too short in my opinion and would recommend a minimum of 5 to 10 days to fully integrate the benefits of this retreat.
I highly recommend a visit at Sukhavati Ayurvedic Retreat and Spa. The whole program is pleasant offering healing and rejuvenation. The meals are delicious and the villas very comfortable. A space where to connect with beautiful people with whom we share the meals and experiences along the journey. All set up in a peaceful natural environment.
