Being vegetarian and coeliac I find it very difficult finding places that offer more than jacket spud and salad. We found this place by chance and upon entering enquirer what g/f food they did that was also vegetarian. As usual there was practically nothing. HOWEVER, I was then offered an omelette of my choice suggesting mushroom peppers onion or even... More

We recently had 40 min to spare in Lutterworth and chose this attractive looking centrally situated pub for a quick lunch but were very disappointed with the service we received. I stood at the bar for over five minutes whilst the barman walked to and fro between that and another bar servnig customers in the other bar and failing to... More

I am sorry you feel this way but we have very high standards here at the pub after just becoming National Winners for Community Food pub of the Year through Marstons. All staff are trained in all the aspects of work throughout the place including customer care skills and knowledge of the business. The pub is cleaned daily by our... More

Stayed 1 night in room 2. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room nice, clean and with tea and coffee facilities. I encountered 3 issues; 1) The shower was disappointing weak 2) There was noise probably from a chiller that persisted through the night coming on and turning off. A constant noise would have been OK but the... More

Oh dear, where to start..... We arrived early evening and enquired if they had any double rooms for the night - Staff on duty seemed quite confused about what rooms they had, but one came to the conclusion that one of the 2 rooms they had was a double, the other a twin. They took payment for the room, and... More

The staff at The Shambles were truly fantastic, from the minute I made the booking, to greeting us on arrival & to when we left. Lovely breakfast, with lovely atmosphere. Rooms were nice & comfy, though the bathroom in room 2, was a wee bit snug to say the least, but the comfort of everything else made up for it.... More

Stayed in lutterworth for a family birthday party. Arrived around 5pm, no parking spaces out front but parked in the public carpark around the corner. We were greeted at the bar by a lovely gentleman, who found our booking, showed us to our accommodation and told us that because we'd rang up rather than booked online it would be £5... More

I have visited here on numerous occasions as my Mum lives in Lutterworth. I don't think I have ever had a bad meal here. The good isn't a la carte but if you want good pub grub this is the place to come. It's good value for money and they are always very welcoming especially the landlady and her Daughter!!!... More

First off, the manageress was really friendly. The meal we had on Friday night was lovely, very good value for money (even if the fish pie had been reheated in the microwave! but not to the detrement ofthe flavour) A decent selection of hand pulled ales which kept my other half happy as well as a good wine list. The... More

We booked this last minute and it was dreadful The sheets were not changed. I woke up with bites on my legs. The wardrobe had no doors. Every time someone shut a door my door shook. The carpets and room need a thorough deep clean. We needed to leave early and there was nowhere to post the keys.
