Stayed at the Geyhound Coaching Inn whilst visiting the nearby Bruntingthorpe Testing Site. Nice clean comfortable room. The hotel has a nice olde worlde charm about it. Nice court yard area for sitting in the sunshine. Food was lovely and a good selection of drinks in the bar. Overall an excellent experience

The most amazing wedding venue ever. Fantastic location, food, service, accomadation & ambience. One of the best days of my life so far, all made possible by the amazing Tina & her team. Couldnt have wished for anything better. Thank you all so very much. Would reccomend The greyhound to everybody.

The Greyhound is a place we have stayed at several times over the past ten years. It is a comfortable and warm hotel in an old coaching inn with all the modern trimmings needed for a comfortable stay. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The room is quaint and nice and warm. Wi-fi is very good. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and the bar meals are tasty and reasonably priced. We did not eat in the restaurant this time as there was a wedding going on and the usually good restaurant was closed. However, the Himalayan Zest Nepalese and Indian restaurant, right across the road, is really excellent!

We stayed here two nights during a business trip. It's not the usual kind of place we'd stay but it was booked on our behalf. As a historical coaching inn, it's got a unique charm that comes with its own set of issues. The guest rooms are all different, so I can't speak in generalities about them. Ours was quite small with limited space for luggage, but others we saw were much larger, so keep that in mind when booking. The bed was fairly soft, the shower wasn't fantastic, and everything felt really old fashioned. But we slept decently so in the end it was all good. Meals were good. Ours were paid for so I don't know what would normally be included. Full English breakfast available or simpler options if you wished. Lunches felt like a collection of hors d'ouvres but tasty just the same. Best part was the lovely area in between the main building and the other building with the guest rooms. Peaceful and well maintained. Sidebar: take a little walk over to see the old church where John Wycliffe pastored in the 1300s. It's a small town so don't expect much in terms of entertainment. Walk across the street to the pub if you want to hang with the locals like we did.

This place is great. Built in the 1700s it has that certain charm that only comes with age. But it also has all the amenities like WiFi etc. The stars are the people that work here. Possibly better than you might find in many 5 start hotels sometimes. I will return.
